The Reader application is intended for Tatra banka clients who have activated the Internet bankingTB service and serves to generate codes for logging in, activating or authorizing transactions in Tatra banka's electronic channels. The reader is equivalent to the standard Card and Reader authorization and authentication tool, and is equally secure. The reader can be activated - Directly in the application - using facial biometrics. For activation, you need PID - personal identification number, a valid Slovak ID card, an SMS code sent during activation to your profile phone number, and a scan of your face. - In person at the branch - By phone During activation, the Reader prompts the user to set a login password, the expiration time of which depends on its complexity, and to set a fingerprint for more convenient login. The Reader requires an Internet connection for activation and updating. Subsequently, it can also be used offline. Complete information as well as the terms of use of the Reader can be found at www.tatrabanka.sk. The current version of the Reader application is available for devices with the iOS 14 and higher operating system.

I love the biometry login!!! :) on macOS (macbook m1 pro), it would be great to have "landscape version" like in previous version of Citacka. Also there is a small visual bug, when during login with password, the password input field is moved to the bottom of the screen and is covered with tokenID and version info.

preco je aplikacia Citacka pre iPad vo vertikalnom formate ked vsetci pouzivaju aplikaciu Tatra Banka vo horizontalnom formate.Doplnenie jun 2025. Ani po dvoch rokoch nie su schopny urobit jednoduchu upravu. Platim horizontalne, overujem sa vertikalne. Ta ne?

It deactivates by itself

I love the app but in the last couple of months it repeatedly deactivates by itself. On both of my iPhones on iOS 17.1.2 I have contacted the TatraBanka and got nice and polite reply but it doesn’t help. Today I activated the app again, did one payment, and then it deactivates again. It’s basically useless when you are on the go.

Can not change the language

It's not possible to change the language of the application on MacBook Pro M1. Otherwise the app looks good, it's fine that is optimized for Macbook M1 as well :)
