How do I activate the app?
To activate the application, you need to have the Nonstop banking service enabled. On the home screen of the Mobile banking app, click on the "Activation" button. Sign in with the ID number and password you use to log in to Internet banking. You will then receive an SMS with an activation code. Write it into the app and choose your new 4-digit Mobile PIN. If your device supports fingerprint scanning or Face ID, you can also activate this sign-in method.

How much will you pay for this service?
The Mobile banking app is free and does not contain any paid services. Fees for operations carried out through Mobile banking are subject to a valid price list of VÚB Bank.

Security only one pin number for payment? Where is two way security check? Payment between my saving and main account is taking to long and I have to log out in order to see the difference in total balance for both accounts. I would welcome more categories like health, fuel, groceries an so on. Have a look on Tatra Banka app. And last 3,5€ charge for changing my daily limits on my car over the app? Come on? That’s ridiculou!!!

Intuitive app

Update: my question has been already answered. I am fully satisfied with the app now - no additional remarks.
Thank you very much:).

It is no a big deal to get used to it. The only comment I would raise is a startup. It takes a while and it always wants me to choose either a pin or a fingerprint authentication (I would prefer the app remembers my recent choice). But lets take this as a challenge for the future:).

Thank you for your feedback. You can set up automatic fingerprint login in Settings - Security - Fingerprint - Automatic login. You have to enable Automatic login. In case of any questions, feel free to contact us on mobile@vub.sk.

Great App but...

...there could be also optional feature to label each transaction as it happens so there would be transparency for users what they are spending money on. Yes, it would take some time and effort for users to manually label all transactions but it would bring great benefits in return. 3rd party mobile financial apps are not integrated very well yet with banking mobile apps.

Example: when I take 300 eur cash from ATM I could label this transaction as pocket money, or food, or split it 150 as pocket money, 150 as food, etc. When there is standing order to pay loan I can label it as “house loan”, etc.

As a result I could generate reports in custom time periods to see how much money was spent and where.

That would be digitization in practice :)
