The UniCredit app offers a smooth and intuitive banking experience, with one standout feature being its spending graphs. These charts make it easy to track expenses across different periods, helping me get a clear view of my spending patterns over time. It’s a helpful tool for budgeting and keeping my finances on track.

However, there’s room for improvement when it comes to managing stored cards. Currently, the app keeps all my old cards, including those that are inactive, and I’ve accumulated around ten of them by now. With only a few still active, scrolling through them all just to find the one I need adds unnecessary clutter and confusion. A feature allowing users to remove or hide old, inactive cards would make navigation far easier and keep things organized.

Overall, a great app, but adding the option to manage old cards would bring it to the next level!

buggy and outdated app

I have experience using applications from other banks - both in other countries and in Slovakia and it seems to me that UniCredit ignored the fact that we live in 2025, where technology has advanced far, and their application has bug after bug! The simplest example is that the button for sending funds gets stuck. I just click on it and nothing happens - and this has been going on for two months. I updated and reinstalled the application, but nothing helps and sometimes, but very rarely, this button works .. It feels like UniCredit invests a minimum of its resources in development, since their competitors, although they do not have such impressive advertising on the market, have much better and more usable applications. In my opinion, even the smallest startups have a much better style and quality of product. Even the name of the application already says that the guys are completely behind the times. What is this? “Smart Banking Slovakia” ??? What smart banking? When I search for an application on my phone, I want to write only one thing and that is UniCredit! and not some kind of non-smart banking!!! Every bank has its own Smart banking and no one thought of calling their application such an abstract phrase! It's wildly inconvenient.

Better than it was, still could be better

The app is much better than it used to be a few years ago - faster, simpler, more modern. That said, there is still quite a lot to improve - I really don’t like the fact that the first thing I see at the top is essentially an ad for a loan, and I would love to see some sort of system for organising the money, and maybe even an option for creating virtual cards. Put simply, I would love this app’s feature set and feel to get as close to Revolut as possible.
