Pretty solid.

If you're looking for a game to constantly take up your time, this is not it. Everything takes a while to develop and that's ok. It's something to come back to and check on throughout the day. The best part about this game is the fairness in building up money to actually expand your city. If you spend the time upgrading your buildings you will get plenty of money to progress. I ended up spending about $6 in extra builders to get to 3 of them. This seemed like a very reasonable decision considering I don't mind waiting for things to happen. It actually helps you plan out your city and what you want to do vs. throwing 1000 things at you at once. I've never had trouble buying more land, the increase in space isnt outrageous and you can afford it just fine with a little patience. Now if you are trying to blow through the game you will be spending tons of money but that's not really the point of a city sim.

I love this game because it makes it fun to build a town, without being too hard, or easy. The graphics are colorful, and there is enough variety in the events to make it interesting. I do wish that there were a few more small anemones/tree types and such… It is good to keep it simple, however it is the only category that doesn't add on from leveling up. With as much happiness as you need to build, it would be helpful, and make the land just a tad more interesting. I absolutely love the buildings that create happiness, those are awesome and fun!! Thanks

I started playing this game last year & after achieving a high level, Village City robbed me of the gold coins I had received. Not only was I robbed of the coins, I was robbed of the “real” money & the time that I had invested into it. I contacted them & they blamed me for allowing the app to run in the background & not closing it out each time I opened it.I understood. I continued playing & was sure to close it out, everytime I played! Awhile later, it happened again. I contacted them & was blamed again. I deleted the game. Significant time had passed & I decided to give it another try. At level 25, 30 gold coins were taken from me after I used them to purchase some land. If you’re not familiar with this game, it takes a significant amount of time to earn that many coins unless you pay for them yourself. I would not, especially after my initial experience with the game. I deleted the game and will NOT play any games by Sparkling Society in the future. Sad.

I actually enjoy this game except for all the pop up ADS! So distracting and constantly interrupting your game play. I understand why you place ads but it would be better if you’d only have them as a choice in order to speed up or add or upgrade items. I’m now in fear of clicking on something because an ad will randomly pop up. I truly hope you’ll change this issue, I’m not sure how much longer I will play this game as it is.
