So, when i first started, i thought the story was really mediocre. But then i kept going, and it got better and better. I saw someone said something about if you play for the characters, you should just go to the wiki page. Yes and No.. the main characters have enough story and such for the game to run off of, but Event characters are different. Chances are, if you came to this game from the internet, you likely saw really buff and attractive characters with flashy clothes and designs. These are usually EVENT characters, and are not directly included in the main story. They’re used for battles, and also gacha trophies. Each one of these event cards has a few different variations which you can access and are well worth the gacha pulls. Now, Leveling. At first, i was confused about how it works and what do focus on. Don’t level up cards that are only 3 stars or below. Only lvl up cards 4-5 stars. Primarily 5 stars if you have any, but 4 star characters are good too. You can get leveling materials from most any story episodes, but i’ve found that using the daily quests is the best way to go. Elemental boosts with lvl materials is somewhat useful to pay attention to in the early game, but i’ve found that it doesn’t really matter too much later on once you start leveling big time. In conclusion, this is one of my favorite games, and i’d even put it in my top ten.

Beautiful translation, though it is in progress, but I’m not going to dock points for that. Fun, simple combat. Thematically similar to Dx2, but I would argue that this is more charming. I’m very excited to keep playing and to find out what happens next.

I should just say that the advertised LGBT thing is not as much of a thing as I was expecting. This might be useful for more people to give it a try and not feel alienated, but I would have to imagine that some LGBT folks might be disappointed that it’s not a bigger part of the story in the first few chapters. Really, what this game is about, and I think it’s one of its greatest strengths, is not alienating anyone. It doesn’t force you into particularly gender-binary or -normative story arcs and situations, but this is in an age and market when almost every other story-based game definitely is. So I think that this will be remembered positively.

this game is the definition of boredom. The main story campaign has one of the most tedious to read dialogue I’ve seen in a game, and it constantly info-dumping, to the point where I spammed through it all, just to get to the gameplay. I will give credit however, with some lines being aware of the targeted audience’s thoughts, and making for jokes in the game. The gameplay is so basic, being a glorified card game, with simply swiping and seeing your character portraits do a voice line and deal damage. There’s a level up mechanic, but it hardly increases your characters stats, making it hard to impossible to get through some fights. The characters are probably what attract most people, which I can understand. what I can’t understand is how some characters are designed to look young, like 9-12 young, and be sexualized. I cannot support a game that has such designs, and also being advertised as a LGBTQ+ game, fueling more stigma against the community. Overall, just a dating sim with a really boring card game slapped into it. Just look up the pictures of the characters on the wiki, it’s easier and free. 1/10
