Good Concept but needs improvement

I like using MinimaList because of its simple interface on the iOS version; however, I find the app unusable because it doesn’t sync reminders across devices under the same Apple ID. What’s the point if you can’t mark a task as completed on one device and have it reflect on another?

I primarily use this app for my shopping list, but it becomes frustrating when I add items on my Mac or iPad and they don’t sync properly with my iPhone. While the lists themselves sync, the individual tasks within them do not.

If I’ve set it up incorrectly, it would be helpful to include this information in the tutorial for new users. Otherwise, if this syncing issue gets fixed, I’d happily bump my rating to 4 stars.

Confusing, Buggy and not responsive, NOT WORTH IT

I appreciate the minimalist design and the attractive concept behind this app, but unfortunately, the user experience falls frustratingly short. While the design is simple, it is also confusing, and navigating between list or task involves too many steps, which makes it frustrating specially due to how buggy it is. Creating a single task/list is unnecessarily complicated, the copy paste function almost never works, and the customization options such as the edit, flag or reminders are even worse—you're also required to redo every customizing feature on every device you use the app on. And the Settings are a nightmare from a UI stand point, nothing is intuitive, and you have to save it multiple times before it actually reflects the appearances on the widget form. When creating task, the app frequently crashes, lags, or experiences glitches within the action buttons (color, tags, date) and editing content within an existing task or sub-task almost never works.

For a paid app it’s not even close to worth it, and honestly, it offers a worse experience than many free task manager apps available on the market even if you have to put up with annoying ads.

So close...

This app is so wonderful. I just wish it worked as advertised. It almost seamlessly links with the iPhone (when you edit an item, it does not update). Dark mode does not work on the Mac version. I also prefer the simpler version. That said, it is an awesome application. I just wish it could get a tuneup.
