Inspect lets you inspect a site's TLS certificate chain on iPhone and iPad. Paste a host name or HTTPS URL, review trust state, protocol, certificate chain, and security signals, then export any certificate in the chain.
Features:
- Inspect live TLS certificate chains
- Review trust status, protocol, validity, SANs, key usage, fingerprints, and extensions
- Surface risky signals like expired certificates, weak algorithms, broken chain linkage, and possible interception products
- Browse every certificate in the presented chain
- Export DER certificates for sharing or debugging
- Inspect the current page in Safari with the Safari extension
- Inspect shared URLs and page data from other apps with the action extension
- Check Live Monitor status from the Home Screen widget
An extension is the perfect way to present certificate info, and this one does it well. Lots of detail available right from the share menu. A floating header to select from the entire certificate chain is an extra nice touch. My only tiny nit is that the design of the details table could be improved - some of the rows are not quite the standard height, and the SHA and MD5 fingerprints don’t wrap their contents like other hex rows do. This pales next to how useful the utility is, though. I’d pay for it if I could.

Exactly what I needed

I was just about to write this, but then hit upon the magic App Store search terms to find it. And for free!? So well integrated you wonder why Apple hasn't added this yet. Every web server or site admin should download this, especially if you rely on an iOS device when on call.
Great utility

I've been looking for a way to inspect certificates in safari for a while. I was considering writing an extension myself, but found this tool in my research.Works incredibly well. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a way to verify certificates in safari. The SSL page integration is super cool. 😎
Works Great!!

Does what I need and does it well. You pull up the secure certificate for a site, check all the relevant info just like you would in your desktop browser’s debug mode. Wish I would have found this sooner, great app/extension!
- OCSP and CRL status check
- Redirect-aware TLS inspection: see each hop separately when a site redirects
- Improved certificate chain display for long chains
- Updated Certificate Transparency log database
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
