Demise of Nations is a 4X turn-based grand strategy wargame covering the rise of Rome till the fall of modern civilization. Command your armies in one of the many ancient and modern countries including the Roman Empire, British Islands, Germany, Japan or the United States. From Rome to modern nations, you create your own warring experience. Wage colossal wars solo, against the AI, or take on your gaming friends in cross-platform multiplayer games. I have around 130 days of playtime on this game and my biggest thoughts are that the ai is very belligerent and will go to war with countries on the other side of the world. I also think that maybe the AI should use the at peace relation instead of just being at only alliance or neutral. In some games, I tend to hit the one million pop per city limit pretty quickly so could you nerf the fertility festivals? Also can you add like auto conquest of protectorates after like a couple of turns or maybe an option to integrate them. I also find that when in a war with an ai, I can just attack its main cities so they don’t give revenue and then it will disband its whole army because it sees that it can’t support it. The ai is also very prone to sending in only small groups of units that get wiped out instead of larger armies. Make sure that the AI knows how to use planes landing and air craft carriers. I also think that unit speed is way too slow. My biggest issue with unit speed is that it can take years for me to sail my fleet across the Atlantic when it should only take a few turns at most. Overly Passive AI

I’ve played the game for about 2 years and love it so much. One thing that’s stopped me from having fun games every time was the AIs passive stance, even on inhuman mode, the hardest setting in the game, they still ally with of nations and send trade requests. A new faction system must be created because what happens every time is invade someone, then have an ally that’s allied with them who has other allies allied with them. So then you end up going to war and get spammed with requests to stop the war, so I try to but the AI rejects my peace deal every time. And the problem there is that the other countries allied with them don’t step in, they just spam those ultimatums and call it a day. I believe with a faction system you’re only allied to a certain set of nations, so if my ally is France then they’re stuck in my faction with the other countries that joined it. Of course they can leave the faction but this would make it so the AI would be less passive and possibly more aggressive and cooperative. Faction caps could also be set to maybe 4 nations per faction, which could be altered in the pre game settings. And there needs to be a war declaration time maybe 1 turn warning because cancelling an ally request and then invading turns later is way too easy, they think that your not gonna bother them because you and them aren’t ally’s. With a faction system I think the countries in mine would send me a request to join my wars. Thanks for your time

So I love this game I’ve poured hours of my life into it but here’s some ideas fix the ai becuse let’s say I’m the lone super power and I invade and crush them and demand submission most the time they won’t and in the game I’m playing right now I Conquered France and made them submit to me and now I want them to get more land so I can get more money because they have more resources and I think it would be better if the trade system or support would be updated so I could send not just materials but soldiers and jets and boats and maybe sell land thanks ps I think it be kool if let’s say there were a nation who could spend a lot of money and I think there should be random events so like your got your troops and then kinda like the treasurer it say a blank killed some of your troops or on sea it say some of your boats sank because of blank and also I feel like there should be a opinion we’re u let’s say u corner a butch of troops and they are all that’s left every city and dock is yours u could send specific troops message like surrender and join my army or die also I like the droughts I just feel like they don’t really do any thing also I think it be pretty cool if I’m the Greek map you put mountains with no matirel along the coast where theymoplaye is

This game is like a mix between total war/EMPIRE/hearts of iron, and I am loving it. I purchased the random map generator for modern units and I am blown away by how customizable the maps and game mechanics are. This game has tons of replayability. I wanted to point out a few bugs: -the AI does not build airports or harbors in the modern random map mode. They just stay on their island and never expand -the aircraft carrier can not be built in harbors when playing the modern random map generator mode and the parameter “everything researched” is selected A few ideas for development: -napoleonic units with cannons and Calvary-a map of North America with modern units -maps have “wrap” feature in which there is no edge of the map -infantry can cross over hills but not tanks etc.
Tournament listing now shows all the players in a tournament. Game setup option allows disabling of protectorates.
