The Grain Marketing Plan app allows you to create grain marketing plans for corn, soybeans and wheat. The application updates you daily with new information allowing you to modify your plans based on current market conditions. Most importantly, this application helps you implement your plan by notifying you when it's time to market your grain. The development of the app was funded by the Nebraska Corn Board, North Central Extension Risk Management Education Center, USDA-NIFA and Nebraska Extension Innovation Funding.

I’m not sure what the last reviewer was experiencing. This app has performed flawlessly for me. Perhaps they didn’t enter the correct values for their crops. Having up to date market data is great and the visualizations are simple and highly effective. Thanks to this app, I’m crushing the soybeans market. It’s a no-brainer for me. Thanks UNL!

This is more of a toy than a productivity app. Limited options with crop bushel inputs make it ineffective and not reflective of real world marketing. Moreover, not even the “Save” button functions. So I’m not sure what the point of this app is. Probably made for a nice graduate student project, and certainly could be a powerful tool for farmers if properly executed.
