It looks like it used to work, based on the reviews. I just downloaded it and it doesn't show as a widget.It's a shame. I don't memorize the date, and need to constantly look at it. But the date on the notifications screen is at the very top, so it's beyond inconvenient to use it (unlike my old samsung, and I wouldn't be surprised with all androids, where you just scroll down a little and take a peek at the date). I hope this great guy can update this app and make it work.

I’ve never understood why iOS never had a way to tell what the date was, easily. Having been a Galaxy user, it’s standard at top of screen and incredibly helpful for someone like me. I’ve truly missed not having a similar function with the iPhone.While hunting the App Store today, frustrating and cursing Apple under my breath, I found this widget. Especially now in the age of home quarantine, coming up with a date off the top of my head was getting harder. I didn’t want anything flashy or complicated. I just want to be able to see what today’s date is without having to shut my phone down and go to the lock screen. I like the design. It’s simple and easy to read. And does everything I needed to do.The biggest problem with this app is that when I went to use the tip jar it did not work. I would like to pay this man for his work.

Tried multiple time/date apps looking for the best Spotlight and swipe-right Lock Screen widgets. This wins. Long press on icon is great too. If you're looking for a time/date app that you can access without having to open the app, this is it. Edit your Spotlight screen to add the widget and the date/time will show 24/7. Next, swipe right on your lock screen to view date/time 24/7. Reading other reviews, seems like some people don't know how to use widgets on ios 10/11.
