You start by taking a quiz to get matched with a licensed, primary care physician who understands your lifestyle and your health needs. Next, you have a one-hour appointment with your doctor to start a real relationship. After that, your doctor is available to you anytime by text, phone, or video chat.

HOW DOES THE MEMBERSHIP & CANCELLATION WORK?
Lemoanid is $99 per month for a twelve-month individual membership. There are no additional fees or co-pays. There is no risk and no long-term commitment to get started. You may cancel anytime within the first month and you will only be billed for that one month. This gives you the opportunity to have your first appointment with your Lemonaid doctor, get comfortable with them, and ensure that they are a good fit for you.
DO I NEED HEALTH INSURANCE TO BE A MEMBER?
No, health insurance is not required.
IF I HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE, DO I STILL NEED TO PAY THE MEMBERSHIP FEE?
Yes. The Lemonaid membership fee enables us to provide a level of personalized service that is not typically reimbursed by most insurers. However, in most cases, the fee can be reimbursed by HSA's, FSAs, MSAs, and HRAs.
CAN MY LEMONAID DOCTOR PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS?
Yes. All of our doctors are licensed physicians and can prescribe a wide range of medications available in a traditional office setting. We do not prescribe opioids, narcotics, and other controlled substances (but can coordinate your care with a specialist when these are necessary).

Based on your answers to a short quiz that asks you about your lifestyle, needs, health care preferences, and goals, you will be matched with a primary care doctor who aligns with your life. In addition to individual memberships, Family, Pediatrics, and Functional Medicine plans are also available.

They give you the impression they’ll be easy to speak to and that they care, but then they don’t follow up, they send you a new user agreement (DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE, READ IT) that forces you into a year long minimum membership at $100/month after the first 30 days, they aren’t open on weekends and when I had a problem with a miscommunication between them and my pharmacy where they approved and then denied the same prescription, did not in any way make clear what was happening, and expected me to be able to clear it up on my own, they claim no refunds are allowed. They expect you to do most of the work while they collect your money. This service used to be amazing, it’s now a cash grab. If you don’t cancel in the first 30 days (including the weekends they aren’t open for) and you decide to cancel, they’ll charge you for that 2nd month, as well as a 300 DOLLAR early cancellation fee. Save yourself $500 or even better yet, the first $100, and run to a doctor that will take longer, but won’t charge you your ability to live in a matter of months.

In having an iPhone and using the App Store for the past 15 years I’ve never taken the time to leave a review. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had any app or anything appointment related. Paid to have a zoom call with a doctor for something extremely important, waited for the date to come so I could get my blood work done, the time came and customer service said that the doctor did not exist on the app, spoke to the chat through the app, email, over the phone and zero people could help me with the appointment. Zero out of five stars terrible experience would never ever use this company ever

This was a really great service before their pricing restructure. I used this when I couldn’t afford to go to an in-person doctor for a very simple prescription and I’m sure it helped a lot of other people too. Now it’s a $100/month subscription service? That’s insane. The greed never ends. No wonder no one seems to use it anymore, it used to be really popular. Only a dozen reviews in 3 years is a little concerning.

Everything about this screams scam to me. I cancelled my card and everything because of this dumb app. Nothing about it is user friendly. Yet to speak to a doctor or actual set an appointment. Poorly executed unless it’s to scam ppl into putting in their card information.
