I’m not diabetic, but am very interested in optimal health. The meter works great as a stand-alone device, but of course it’s great to see the results displayed and analyzed. So after using the monitor for a couple months, I finally downloaded the app. Connecting to my phone was VERY quirky. The instructions with the monitor were completely wrong. After 20 minutes of frustration, I found the in-app video showing the correct method, and finally got the monitor to connect to my phone. I like the data display and total average glucose calculations for set periods. My current frustration is that I never keep Bluetooth on. I turn it on to connect to devices only when needed, then turn it back off (and so should you 😊). If I just want to look at my data in the app, I either need to turn on Bluetooth or a window pops up every 5 seconds telling me I need to turn on Bluetooth. There’s no need for device connection when simply looking at my in-app data! I realize that turning on Bluetooth is no big deal, but seriously, why have this “feature”. Seems like the developers should take a look at the reviews and star rating here and seriously consider whether they should provide an app. If you’re going to do it, do it maybe just slightly better than completely half-baked.

App was working for last six months with no issues until Apples newest update, please find a solution so I can continue to use this product and have access to my results. Thanks so much.

With so many bad reviews I just felt that I should share my last year with the meter. First, I have an iPhone and from day one, it has worked flawlessly with both Ketones and Glucose. Second, I love how it gives you immediate access to your data. Third, the lancer that came with my meter is superior to the one I got from my Doctor prescription. Honestly, having used both my glucose only meter with inferior features, like I can’t upload my data or can’t test for Ketones makes me wonder why it isn’t the prescribed meter for the Mayo. Anyway, the meter I got, using my iPhone has worked exactly like the app write up claims.

One of the main reasons I bought this particular glucose/ketone monitor was its ability to sync with my phone. Ever since I updated to iOS12 the imports only work about 10% of the time. Every other time it sits at the “importing” screen indefinitely. The only way I’ve found to get it to sync is to remove the meter from the app and readd it, which has its own problems because when the meter is on with uniformed data the import screen hijacks the app making it impossible to remove the device. So you have to turn off the meter, open the app, remove the meter then turn it back on and add it again.
