This is the worst software I have ever worked with, it fails constantly, crashes, server side errors- my dealership fell into this trap and we have felt the pain daily. A two minute write up takes 15 minutes on average and embarrassing moments in front of customers apologizing for wasting their time. I’ve lost many sales to this, this program actually prevents sales. Not to mention when it’s working “properly” it loads and loads and loads leaving dead time between you and the customer. I would prefer a brick over this because at least I know what the brick will do next. No notification after tech puts his estimate in smart, if parts will even stay on the sheet you are lucky. It rides on the back bone of CDK drive which is a good program. But it can’t even transfer it own data into a program owned by its own company….. total trash. They need to completely scrap the web based programming and create an application. So all the loading and upload can be done in the background.
More efficient and streamlined from 2.0 series

This version of Lane is a much more efficient and streamlined write-up process with a few enhancements to some of the clunkiness of previous versions. The thumbnails of photos taken during the lane inspection is just one of the many features this version has improved over the 2.0 series. No need to move from tab to tab with all of the data needs located in separate boxes on one screen. Good app.
