I like the app a lot for the techs. However owning an auto repair business I can't always have my computer right in front of me and being able to use the app to ad new customers, start repair orders, pretty much a lot of what I can do online and not on the app is what I would love to see on the app for owners or admins. We do a lot of mobile work, so being able to ad new cars and new jobs on the go would be very helpful. When I open tekmetric up on safari I constantly have to zoom out in order to use it online which drives me nuts. Its hard to use in a mobile setting. I love tekmetric, the program itself is great! We use it everyday and I love having options to use. I just wish the app had more so we could use it while on mobile diagnostics or new jobs and do everything right from the app. Hopefully soon!

There is practically no reason to get this app rather than using the website. You cannot see service history, or specs such as oil capacity and wheel torque specs. You also cannot edit a repair order that has been marked complete though the app, you have to go through the website to reopen and inspection. Although tekmetrics website can be a pain to use on mobile, don’t waste your time with the app

I’ve used a few different auto shop interfaces- this is the first and perhaps the only one that is ambitiously trying to streamline your service process. You will feel like they are working to improve your business and make your life easier while making you more money. Other interfaces have slowed me down, frustrated me, and quite frankly- made good talent leave because they’re simply not flexible for a business that’s ever so evolving with a volatile process. Ever feel like “this business shouldn’t be so hard”? I agree. That’s what Tekmetrics does. It makes perfect sense of the chaos. It allows you to grow because suddenly you realize… you’re not as overwhelmed as you thought you were. You can handle more traffic in less time. Manage more employees than beforehand. I need TekMetrics like a Tech needs his 10 mm socket. It’s a must.
