I really wish that I could attach the screenshots that I have. I reached out through the messaging assistance on this app needing assistance. They told me they would have to submit a request 8 days ago to achieve said request. They reached out to me via email, then wouldn’t respond to the emails. I reach back out to the chat support and “Antoinette B” told me that fixing the issue was something that could be done easily. I ask why I wasn’t told this information 8 days prior. She proceeded to gas light me by saying, “That was so because you signed up for anindependent account and was givng the information for that account so we would not know you should be under a shop” On top of the lady not answering my question, and trying to turn it around on me and make it my error, this app has brought me ZERO clients. Not even a booking and then a no-show. I recommend Booksy. Not worth my time or energy. And now they can’t help me delete me account. I’m so glad they don’t have my card info. And on top of that whenever I said no, I do not want the free month that you offered me initially whenever I asked you to close the first question that she answered was do you want a free month on us? I asked her if she could please just go ahead and. And she did not ask me if there is anything else that she could help me with like every other chance of support I have ever had. She just ended the chat. It’s not like it doesn’t take forever for the chat to connect to begin with. This app is garbage.
Too notch

When I decided to switch the staff seemed a bit busy. I’d possibly say overwhelmed but it didn’t feel that way as they handled everything professionally. Switched during the government mandated shutdown. Now, on their end they held my hand or outright did everything relating to fluctuating hours of operation. I had a lot on my mind so this little extra touch (also including researching how far in advance I allow customers to cancel and set time accordingly) its an incredibly fluid app from the customers end. I’m still learning it from the “admin” end, a tad bumpy getting started, but all around, less bumpy than the software I was previously using, and far more comprehensive. It’s a rather large commitment, as their own payment processing is encouraged. I would be upset by this but they are very very competitive with fees on your money. One thing to note, their are fees on the consumer side for certain actions. I’d just say make yourself aware of these other than that the app is pretty sweet. My Reps name was Tyler. He new what I was thinking before I thought it, at times. Good show.

As an independent contractor at a barbershop I find it tedious to set a recurring schedule for a simple lunch hour, I don’t want to keep blocking time for every single day. Also the system does not merge duplicate contacts when clients are imputing their information for an appointment. The concierge has long wait times. It is also very important for me to be able to access all the options on my laptop and iPad straight from my iPhone. It’s mobile version and I am limited to things that don’t benefit my business. The campaign option can also be tedious I experience glitches in the subject when I try to create an email campaign Invite it does not allow me to type in a subject. It also charges the customer a fee when booking and completing an appointment. When I ring up a client for a walk in price and let’s say the customer is new wants to pay with card and doesn’t want to share his information the system doesn’t recognize that it’s a “walk in” and it never appears in the SCHEDULE for the day. In the report it shows but not in the schedule block. If we add an add-on service to the menu like “eyebrows” the client can see that service and book it.. it’s good however as a barber I don’t want to have an appointment for just the EYEBROW service. I want it not to show in the haircut service menu and only show as an add on to the haircut service if that makes sense. Aside from all this mentioned not in detail it works just fine. Choppy but fine
Fees and unnecessary updates
Lol critter
The fees are mounted up to nearly 5 dollars per client after booking online. Recently, I have told my clients not book online to avoid these fees. This takes away from my tip and potential money I can make for my self. Our shop has been using squire going on two years now. The original app was very user friendly, but now their updated, commander app, is hard to navigate. It is now forcing you to update the app but gives us no update in the App Store, to do so. For example the old app you were able to change an appointment simply by clicking and dragging it to a new slot. The new app doesn’t have this simplistic feature, which was helpful in a busy shop, with limited time. Our barbers are currently logged out of there accounts. There is no way to book appointments, nor see upcoming appointments. This unacceptable in our business. This company is failing themselves. I’m sure after today we will be looking for other booking applications.
Bug fixes and improvements.
