This app is absolutely horrible. Don’t waste your time. Aside from taking literally forever to load, I couldn’t get past the initial barcode scan. The app is so quick to scan the barcode that it doesn’t give time for the camera to fully focus on the barcode. Also, having to call the hospital to set up the ordering device is a very bad idea. Whoever developed this should be fired for not putting more thought into making this efficient.

Finally an App that you can order food from your hospital bed. I love that you can pick, customize and place an order. It also shows you where in process the tray is. No more sitting and waiting for what seems like an hour. I can watch and have an idea of when my food is getting to me.Not that I want to be in a hospital ordering food, but if I have to be I want this control to do it this way.

I think the idea behind this app (reducing food waste at Sharp) is admirable and while, like any new software, there are a few kinks to work out, the staff behind the app are truly amazing and showed a lot of care in ensuring we ultimately got what we needed. I do think this will add a lot of convenience and efficiency for patients and staff alike, especially for longer stays.

This app is good when it works. I used it before and now at the hospital i’m at, i’ve activated the app twice and it goes through then doesn’t let me order. The hospital staff can’t help and there’s no way to contact anyone for the app so it’s pointless. My baby is in the nicu and i can’t just make phone calls whenever so i was really counting on using this and have no way to resolve the issue.
