The eSOMS Suite Mobile Maintenance application allows maintenance supervisors to sign on and off clearances and maintenance workers to sign on and off work order holders in the field. In the past this had to be done in a work planning office or at a kiosk, which is inefficient. With Mobile Maintenance workers can be briefed before the job in the field and then signed onto the clearance for protection immediately, giving a more accurate accounting of who is being protected by the clearance. When their work is complete they can sign off immediately in the field, eliminating the need to wait in line at a kiosk or office before leaving the worksite.
