I’m a doTERRA essential oil wellness advocate. I use this EO reference guide on most every day since purchasing it a year ago. I’ve shared it with my clients, friends, & family. I know offhand about 6 to 8 people who’ve purchased upon my recommendation. They also swear by it, & use it daily. I have tried 2-3 other essential oil Apps, & not one of them even comes close to comparing to this one! It’s an amazing resource, loaded with a wealth of knowledge about essential oils. It provides detailed descriptions of what each oil is made from, how they are distilled, their uses, benefits, safety methods and the ways in which you can apply them or how to use them aromatically. The first 4-5 months that I had this App, I used it every day & multiple times a day. My clients believe that I’m a well versed, oil genius because I can provide them answers on the spot anytime they call, text, or face to face questions. I studied this app there early in the beginning and as I stated I used it so often that I don’t have to go into the app as often, however I still use it about three times a week; and when I enroll a new client, I usually end up using the App every day again for the first week or two of enrolling the new member. I highly recommend this App to anyone who wants to learn/educate themselves on EO’s or is a Wellness Advocate who is educating others on their oil journey! :)

When I first got the app I loved it however now that they have updated it and removed the section with ailments I will most likely not use and delete it. The whole reason I’ve been using it was for that one feature. Now the app is basically useless. Very disappointed. I hope they bring that feature back soon.

The app has a good start but could be a lot better. It’s good that there are just a few oils listed per ailment but there are also many more that could be there (and ranked by order of recommendation) as well as more uses and suggestions. Also, since the list of oils and the usage instructions are so minimal, they could be put on the same page without having to flip back and forth. I do also feel that many common methods of application are missing. It’s nice to be able to take notes but perhaps the notes could be visible on the same page as the oils listed. The notes could also be crowd sourced so that more people could know how other people use the oils. It’s nice that you can mark “my oils”. Perhaps you could also add a quantity so it can be used for personal inventory as well. It might also be nice to be able to group ailments by category or body system as well as alphabetically. A dilution chart for kids and babies might also be good to include in the reference section.

The app is okay but for $7 I expected for it to be easier to use. The back button blends in with the background and it takes a minute to find. You can’t read the responses to questions because apparently the font color is white. I do like being able to keep inventory and write my own notes. I expected more (maybe a video) for the different application areas and types. Definitely not worth the $7. There should at least be a free trial. If I could get a refund, I would want it because I highly doubt that I will use it.
