Sometimes, I just want to get away from it all; far away from life's perpetual burdens. I let my imagination get the best of me, as I tap into the core where fantasy awaits, inventing secretive and magical places where I can wander around freely without any weight on my shoulders. This is that place.The artwork is breathtaking in every capacity. The illustrations are realistically rendered; and they evince in me a gentle sense of wanderlust, persuading me to gaze upon the exquisite landscapes that I visit, with each one demonstrating its own work of art.I love discovering and exploring the plethora of locations, as I unravel each one's enigmas by collecting cryptic clues to solve intriguing puzzles. The clues and puzzles suitably blend into the distinct environments, thus creating an effective balance between the captivating visuals and a profound sense of atmospheric stimulation.The level of difficulty is about average; if you consider yourself to be an expert player, then you might think that this game does not offer any significant challenge. You can choose to be guided by the Hint system; however, I chose to take my time, figuring out on my own how to progress.As I enter the final stretch of this majestic journey, I ponder over what brought me here. I reflect upon those concerns and just let them go. I am now ready to head home and wait for the next opportunity to take "The Long Journey."

I tend to replay these types of games every so often. It’s been quite some time since I played this so I reinstalled it. Made it to the cave but now the game won’t restore my purchase of the full game all chapters. So… yeah, that remains my problem. It’s fun though. But some apps exhibit this problem every so often I run into that the App Store / the app will not restore an upgrade I purchased a long time ago.

The game is pretty good, I like how many scenes there are and the fact that you can easily look at a hint without any trouble every-time you need it. What would be nice is if the game had more context when it comes to solving some of the puzzles, I understand the complexity but it would be nice if there was just a little more guidance… the one thing that irks me about this game is compared to other games in this genre, you don’t have to pay to continue to play… this game is not top quality what so ever, so I find it to be a waste to spend your money on it. It’s very ridiculous to me… maybe if it was higher quality and the directions were more clear , and maybe the price was a little lower yes I wouldn’t care to pay but it’s just not worth it to me. I really was starting to like this game too, until the payment part came up. That’s probably why the ratings are not very good for this game to be honest… hope this can be fixed or something !

I seriously don't understand the 5star reviews.I don't like writing bad reviews. But $5 games in the App Store have a certain level of quality that should be expected. I think this game was worth $1 or $2. But that's it.Compare this $5 game to the same cost of "The Room" series. The room far exceeds in quality, graphics, intelligence, game play, challenge, length of game and much more.Why this is a tediously boring game:1) The scenery.. I've seen the same exact stock photos in other escape games. Same ones! 2) The scenery - it looked like the developers simply grabbed a couple dozen scenes they liked and half-heartedly threw them together in a non-sensical way. Walking through a forest - then a tunnel - then the Great Wall of China - then a shack - then Angkor Wat! Go through a rock door in ancient ruins....the next scene is a bowling alley and cafe. When you enter the cafe, it becomes a house! Upstairs is creepy abandoned - but downstairs has an almost normal kitchen sink. While on the right side of the house-cafe scene there's a hole in the wall that ends up being a long tunnel. They didn't even TRY to make sense. 4) The puzzles were quite simple. The only challenge was not finding the items and clues hidden in the FAR edge of the screen. Many clues were partially off-screen(number plate and beehive hook). 5) And lastly, the game is ridiculously short ..even the walkthrough on YT was barely 40 minutes of play time.
