BarSpoon is a cocktail recipe app with elegant design and user friendly navigation. With more than 3500 cocktails you can easily find the perfect drink recipe. We offer step by step instructions and exact measurements in order to create your favorite cocktails. The app helps you pick the right glassware and garnish as well as providing the approximate prep time. Also, there is a fun fact on the history of the cocktail. Explore the different categories from classics and tropicals (tiki) to coffee drinks and famous cocktails that have appeared in film. You can also search by the different eras, taste buds (sweet, bitter, sour, savory, smoky and spicy) and base spirits. One of the standout features of BarSpoon is its ability to empower users to select ingredients on hand, enabling them to create both new drinks and old favorites. Simply choose from the four categories - spirits, liqueurs/bitters, wines/vermouths, and mixers, then combine ingredients within them to discover your personalized cocktail recipe. Essential One-Stop Cocktail App

This is one slick app. It was an instant upgrade to the premium version as soon as I started using it. It’s both beautiful and functional, and the recent update added even more value. As a former fan of the simple yet effective Bartender’s Choice, which has not kept up with software updates, Barspoon excels in every way: you can create your own inventory and search for drinks you can make with what you have, you can browse by a variety of drink categories or by a major ingredient (I have been enjoying the Riffs on an Old Fashioned), the search function is effective, there are profiles of mixologists and the extra information on each drink, the ability to mark a drink as tried as well as having the option to select a favorite is a great way to keep track, and so many other features that all add up to Barspoon being the essential one-stop cocktail app!

One of the standout features is the stunning photography accompanying each recipe which helps you visualize the end result. It's definitely worth upgrading to the premium version to get the entire library and to add your own recipes and notes to the existing recipes!

I’ve tried all the pay-for-play bar apps and seriously, none of them can compare to the BarSpoon app. I tell all my friends about it and I use it all the time as I have a pretty extensive home bar. It motivates me to make drinks I would have never thought of. If I could suggest one thing though - for the drink recipes that I can make with the ingredients in my bar - please make a “surprise me” selection or a way to filter recipes by base liquor so that way when I feel like having a certain base then I can pull up recipes that I can make using it. Regardless, I don’t use my other app for my cocktail recipes. Thank you for making this app! The interface if classy, the drinks are amazing.

You can explore drinks specific to certain spirits, by taste preferences, and even by city of origin and/or time period. Some of the drinks even have fun facts attached for that extra flair.
