This is to me that the Voice Recorder app in the system for iOS to switch this observations refer in fact an excellent application. It is very sensitive application that records basically all sounds that surround the person that is used to it in this case myself in addition to that the recording is always hi-fi. The fidelity of the sounds in the recording are basically equal to the sounds that we review at the moment of the recording. He had not occurred to me to do some test because I have been using the application chest casually. My use is for recording voice for radio shows. The long and short of it is this. After over 100 shows recorded since the Covid pandemic my best results come from close range recording of about 3 or 4 inches distance to the microphone on my iPhone for optimum quality paired with compression and EQ in Ferrite editor. All functions in the Voice Recorder Oro are adequate BUT there is one small fix I would do on this app. If you are recording and want to listen as you record then you are out of luck or at least I cannot. While recording you cannot hear yourself. If you record and pop your p’s or if you rustle paper or accidentally make any unwanted noise, you won’t know about it until you listen to your playback. All professional recordings of voice always include the use of headphones while you record so that you hear what you are doing. This is Radio 101 and something I teach students that I mentor. Without that function of listening while recording you are lost. This is a must fix on this app in my opinion. Since I like the app and the cost of the “Pro” option is minimal I’ve learned to be extra careful but sometimes I hear when I make lingual noises and I have to edit them out to get a professional end result. If you record any long format voice overs I would look elsewhere.

I am happy to write the feedback, because the time was taken to create the app, and I truly hope the feedback is read by the app owner.Having the ability to pause a recording and continue later is huge. Sms this pause is needed in multiple forms (if the phone rings, if an alarm goes off or just if I want/need to pause). I have no idea how to stitch recordings together, and while I'm sue I could learn, it would be so much easier to keep everything I need on a recording in one audio file without having to do the extra work.Other than that, I'm thrilled that there's a pro version because I was just about ready to stop using the free version due to all of the ads, especially the ones where the X to close out the ad is under the battery icon and tapping it repeatedly did nothing, leaving the only option as closing and restarting the app.

It does not work on my iPads Bluetooth. Although my headphones hook up to my iPad and I can hear everything else over the headset, when I play a recording back, it just plays over the speaker and not the headset.I like this recorder a lot but one thing I wish it had was the START time of the recording. When you finish recording, it assigns a name to the file which is the date and time the recording finished. You can change the name but if you want to change it to the start time, that option is not automatically available. I do like that you have recording options that you can customize to your liking. You can also edit the recorded file. I give this four stars only because of the non-ability to have it auto save the file name with the start date and time.
