So far, so good with Helcim - app and card processing “block” are both easy to use and have had zero issues so far. Their rates are way better than what I had been used to and that’s definitely a win as I’m a small business and every dollar counts. Only two issues (small ones) are: 1) it takes a bit longer to see funds deposited than what I was used to; and, 2) when using the processing “block” (as I like to call it) there isn’t an option to tip a specific dollar amount - only % options. That has ended up costing me in some cases.

“My experience with Helcim has been extremely disappointing. Despite their claims to help grow businesses, my interaction with them has only served to cripple my operations. Their customer service is abysmal, as evidenced by a three-hour wait time for a response to a pressing issue. Even after requesting a return phone call, I received no such courtesy. To make matters worse, Helcim failed to process a significant $24,000 transaction and did not inform me directly. Instead, I received an email notification, which is wholly inadequate for someone processing substantial transactions. As a high-volume merchant, I expect more proactive and efficient communication, especially considering I had explicitly informed them of the nature and volume of my business from the outset.Their mishandling of the transaction has now necessitated an additional five-day delay in reversing the payment to the customer's account, causing significant inconvenience and potential damage to my business relationships. It's fortunate that the customer in question is known to me; otherwise, the repercussions could have been far more severe In conclusion, my experience with Helcim has been nothing short of detrimental to my business. Their incompetence and lack of consideration for high-value transactions are inexcusable. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering Helcim's services, as their ineptitude could have serious repercussions for your business

Do NOT use this company! After three days of using them for over $20k in processing, they decided we weren’t a good fit for them, immediately closed our account and blocked our access to them, and all we get is an email saying they’re refunding all of our clients. What?? Then I call, a non-American answers and repeats what the email says as if I’m stupid, puts me on hold for ten minutes, all to tell me that the “trust and safety” team will email me back when they can. The email I sent them before said it would take 3 business days to get a response. So to be clear, they have over 20k in our funds (we can’t tell because they blocked us) and who knows if they’ve already refunded our clients so we have to chase that money down and hope our clients are kind enough to pay us. DO NOT USE!

I’m personally not having issues with crashing, it might be a hardware performance issue with others, but it does have some bugs to be worked out and an overall UI remodel. Maybe have some staff or a user panel study try out the beta and seek feedback? I’m hanging in there with Helcim though because I believe in their mission (similar to my business). Once their developers catch up they will be fine.
