Legal Theft?

If are a start-up company or small business use Merchant Square, they do not have a monthly charge or hidden fees. I signed up with Leaders' Merchant August 2018 because the sales rep stated I would only pay a monthly fee of $9.95 if I did not meet the min 2000 transactions per month and Leaders had the lowest transaction fees. However, the very next month Leaders Merchant charged me a $44 monthly fee. When I contacted customer service they disclosed all of these hidden fees (fees that were NEVER disclosed to me). Even though the retention department offered to drop on going fees to $20 per month, I no longer trusted them. The very next day I closed my account (FYI: there closure form gives you options for cancelling that does not match with your reasoning, and you must select an option). The form even has an option which states "misunderstood agreement," nothing that states HIDDEN FEES. Two weeks later I checked my account and noticed I was charged a $350 cancellation fee. This is very UNETHICAL!! Leader's Sales rep intentionally failed to disclose the company's fees, yet I was charged an cancellation fee. I intend to tell my story until the world hears it. The media needs to share my story to ensure others do not get taken. Signing up with this company cost me $454 dollars in one month ($10 for mailing the device, $50 for the device, $44 monthly fee, and $350 cancellation fee). Legal Theft?

STAY AWAY FORM THIS!!!!

I’ve been with many merchants and so far this is the worst one I’ve ever used. They take like forever to deposit funds, the app crashes a lot making you think that the transaction went thru and you check later and nothing having to ask customers for card information many times. The wireless device doesn’t even work properly and it disconnects by itself. If a customer disputes a transaction with their bank you won’t even see it coming, they won’t even notify you or anything they will just take the money from the bank without saying a single word. I rather pay Square INC their high fees than use this company , square has a lot more features and they actually work ; sometimes cheap doesn’t always mean is good ! You get what you pay for! This company is so horrible they shouldn’t even be in business. Worst customer service ; worst everything ! I’ve used Stripe even stripe has better customer service and a better merchant! I rather take cash, checks anything but use this Nationalbankcard bs Paysafe more like trash! Save yourself time and stay away!

Doesn’t work

They reset everything and still not working. Customer service was unprofessional and acted like it was my fault. When working the chip scan worked but not the swipe for cards with no chip. Wanted to charge to replace device. Was told to charge device 4-6 hrs between every transaction by one rep but when setting up was told I could run 500 charges before charging again. Worked at 2:00 today and by 4:00 it wasn’t. Who has time for all this. This was the replacement for the one that didn’t work before. I am over it.
