The Citibank app is easy to use and easy to navigate. You can do almost anything online through the app like making payments or making deposits or simply transferring money from one bank to another.It’s always nice to use an app on your phone where they have thought of just about everything you would need to do to manage and maintain your bank accounts and payments to your mortgages or your car loans and I give a thumbs up.

It is impossible to navigate the app because the main menu is broken. This means you’re not able to pay your mortgage because on the mobile version, the menu doesn’t appear correctly after selecting “Mortgage”, and beyond the main menu you can’t navigate anywhere else within the menu because of this bug. The same thing happens when you try to use the web experience instead of the app, and they offer no way to convert to the full desktop version on mobile as a workaround. This should seriously be illegal and feels completely wrong. It’s been this way for months. I’ve never written an app review before but I’m hoping that given the severity of this issue, someone over there will see this and fix it. You need to check your app- all parts- for usability. This is inexcusable. Fix it.

As much as I love the aesthetics of the new City Bank app, I found during the transition that the old app updated available balances immediately while the new app takes several hours to update. The new app shows pending transactions, but does not reflect those transactions in the balances nearly as fast as before. This delay is frustrating if you rely solely on the app for your information and think you have more in your account than you actually do! This is my sole issue with the new app and if this delay is fixed, it will be a definite upgrade to the previous version.

We have been with City Bank for over 15 years and love the way they make us feel important, recognized, and appreciated.Not only are they wonderful just for everyday banking, but they go above and beyond to assist us with loan requests and any other business needs.It is great to be able to have a local bank that is not associated with any of the major corporate banks. We really appreciate the hometown feel and personal attention we receive at City Bank.
