The recording doesn’t stop. So when you pull over to use your phone you get penalized for pulling over and using your phone. It also shows wrong speed limits and records wrong speeds. Emailing the support system is like watching moss grow. Recommend getting a stop button to end your trips. Recommend trying another app.

Thank you for your feedback. Distraction events occur when the car is moving, the screen is on, and the phone moves in a non-cradled fashion. Tapping or swiping also indicates your attention is diverted from the road. The best way to avoid this is to keep your phone cradled and not let any passengers use your device while driving. In addition, we don't want to penalize you for instances where you're meeting the speed limit.As you have stated, your car was not moving to create a distraction, and the app didn’t correctly show speed limits or capture the correct speed. We would like to research your experiences to determine what is happening. Each user experience can be different, and providing specific trip details to our Support Team will help us isolate your concerns. If you’ve already reached out to our Support Team at Telematics@StateAuto.com, and didn’t get a response, please call us at 833.724.3577 and follow the prompts to Safety 360. Supposedly this app only is tracking you when we’re in the vehicle that has the Bluetooth receiver mounted on the windshield. Yet my privacy setting shows always active whether in that vehicle or not. Who are they selling me out to? Class Action anyone?
