Originally I was just using the Notes app to keep track of our three geckos’ needs, but it was getting tedious having to scroll through the long notes, which is why I started looking for an app that would keep my geckos’s notes more organized. PetNote+ is a savior and a great app to keep pet records with, but there are a few things that could be improved. Pros: - The layout of the app is very nice and pretty, and the clean layout makes it easy to use - All the information that is available to add to a pet’s profile is wonderful - I love the “Gotcha Day” - The app allows a lot of customization which means it’s not only great for the more traditional pets, but it can also be tailored for more non traditional pets such as reptiles - Ex. I was able to make custom records to keep track of when I feed my geckos, if they’re eating well, when I clean their tanks, and how much they weigh so I’m able to keep track of their growth! - The ability to share the pet profiles and all the other information with my partner so that he can view everything in the app on his phone is awesome! Cons: - An “every other day” reminder option for records would be nice - When adding pictures, whether it be a pet profile picture or adding one to a record, sometimes the picture’s orientation is flipped either 90 or 180 degrees which is weird and a bit annoying - Instructions for sharing could be made more clear. This took a while for us to figure out, and I was going to try to write simpler instructions to put in this review, but I can’t even remember how we did it now.
