I don’t write very many reviews for the App Store, but this one is so good that I had to say something about it.I’ve been looking for this exact solution for some time, and I stumbled on this after I’d been trying to build my own method.The app is simple, yet works perfectly with the Charge HQ system. After just a few minutes of setting up my grid-tied SolarEdge inverter and Wallbox Pulsar Plus charger, my cars are now being charged using only excess solar energy, lowering my utility bills while charging my cars as quickly as possible while just using the energy that my solar panels produce.Whether your goal is just to use the cheapest way possible to charge your car or to maximize using renewable energy, this will help you do the job.

More people should know about this little gem and more people should rate it.It just works.It does what the manufacturer’s apps should be doing; allowing you to charge only from where you want (excess solar, not battery or grid, for example). You can set maximum charge rates and prioritize battery or EV charging.Love this little app. Allows me to stop thinking about my electricity, keep my car and batteries charged and stay completely off grid with my Solar/Battery system. Basic interface but a solid FIVE STARS from me.

I was trying to get charge on solar from a Tesla working, only to finally realize it doesn’t work on my carThis app does exactly what I hoped Tesla would provide I charge my car during the day on excess solar. And at night, I can book a grid base charge to ensure the car reaches a minimum charge stateI live in California, under net metering 3.0, which means I get virtually no credit for selling electricity back to the grid. Therefore, using this app to capture access, solar energy is just what I wanted.

Been waiting for Tesla to do what this app does. Love that I can have the car alter it’s charge rate based on solar energy so I don’t use Powerwall at all when charging.
This update includes:
- data download feature: download your charging history in CSV format
- the ability to cancel a subscription from the app (allows annual subscriptions to be cancelled)
- Sungrow: allow European users to connect (allow connection by Communication Device S/N as well as Plant ID)
- remove erroneous Tesla vehicle schedule alerts
- avoid blank screen on My Plan screen
- other minor fixes
