Neon Fury is an innovative, exciting turn-based strategy game. It is played on a board, and you can use various unique power-ups to conquer the board & destroy your opponent’s pieces! If you want to test your tactical prowess against other players, this is the game for you. **Gameplay:** Two players face off against each other on a 10 x 8 board. Each player has 24 pieces to move across the board. The objective of the game is to destroy all your opponent’s pieces. The rules are simple to learn - move your pieces across the board each turn and use various power-ups to destroy your opponent - but the combination of power-ups makes the game difficult to master. If you feel like you’re losing the game, keep playing! You may get access to power-ups that can completely change the course of the game! FEATURES OF NEON FURY Complex and unique power combinations Colorful, retro-futuristic graphics. Taunt your opponent with emojis Invite your friends to play with you or auto-match with a random player. Play up to 30 games at the same time. Intricate, endlessly repayable game design Built-in tutorials and guidance systems Some of the many power-ups in Neon Fury include: Armor: Shield your piece from all jumping attacks Amplify: Make every other attack twice as strong Artillery: Bombard the back row of your opponent’s army Breach: Transport your piece behind enemy lines Defect: Convert your opponent's pieces to your team Disintegrate: Destroy your opponent’s pieces and the tile underneath them Landmine: Turn a tile into a bomb that your opponent can step on Magnetize: Pull your opponents toward you Nuclear Strike: Totally destroy the center of the board Targeted Strike: Attack random tiles and pieces Shockwave: When your piece moves, it sends a shockwave shattering all surrounding pieces And many, many more! I've been playing since the original launch of this game, back when it was called Torus Neon. Neon Fury is a fun strategy game played on a grid where you try and destroy your opponent's pieces. It plays like checkers but with custom power-ups that let you control the board, augment your own pieces, and destroy (or incapacitate) your opponent's pieces. Try it out! The developer is very receptive to feedback and has made many quality-of-life updates since the first version of the game. Two quick examples: I really like the new iconography and the replay of the last turn when you re-enter a game room.

Great game but I’ve been having issues where games that are half way or mostly complete seem to restart. I have the same game against the same opponent that is almost complete and then randomly on a turn I’ll go to move and the game is starting over. The old game is not in completed games, so it looks like the existing game just restarted.

I have been playing this game off and on for several years, but more lately. Several times the game has switched teams. Started as blue but then changed to red. Today the app just crashes when I try to play my turn.
