Extremely useful for tracking. The insights are proving both interesting and useful. The app is well-thought-out and put-together. There is certainly plenty of room for improvement and for it to become even more useful and easy to use. But even as is, it is very much worth the subscription to me (and you can use many of the features for free). It also allows for a great deal of meaningful customization and adaptability within its current limits, allowing me to make it even more useful for me personally and to solve for the few limits of its current functionality. The pace of development is also impressive and the responsiveness to requests and suggestions (including, in one instance, introducing a major new feature, in a well-thought-out and well-executed way, within one day of the suggestion being submitted) is entirely unprecedented in my experience. In the above instance one of the creators of the app responded personally to my generic customer service ticket and wrote back and forth with me several times until and after my issue was resolved. I certainly wouldn't expect them to be able to offer that level of attention with any frequency. But I was deeply impressed and the experience confirmed my decision to use this app long-term and subscribe to the premium version, feeling confident that it will only get better.
Sooo much better than Bearable
Mabasaurus
I started out using the Bearable app, hoping I could get some good insights about my health and mental health and what factors have impacts on various aspects of my health. Bearable’s data insights were, to put it mildly, useless. They didn’t actually make sense and you couldn’t even compare half of the information you’d been collecting for ages in hopes of getting good, interesting insights. But then I found Guava. I will admit that Bearable’s UI & UX is a bit more visually appealing and intuitive, but Guava reigns supreme in literally every other way. You can connect your medical records and Apple Health data, as well as a bunch of other apps and whatnot. You can track nearly everything, and the integration with my healthcare providers’ system is priceless, especially for me as a cancer patient who is seeing doctors and getting bloodwork/vitals done super often. I freaking LOVE this app! I am so stoked about learning all these interesting things about my health and my environment and habits. It’s just so cool. The only thing I wish it had was integration with the myAir app, so I could track the data from my CPAP machine and get insights about those things. But maybe someday—the devs are pretty great about updating the app and adding new features, so hey, maybe I’ll get lucky! In any case, this is an amazing app and has totally changed my outlook on my health—by sort of gamifying health tracking in a way, it’s encouraged me to be more mindful of my health and the things that impact it, and to do things that are good for me.
I Absolutely Recommend

This app is a life-saver. At least, for me it was. I am a female teen nearing adulthood and I have adhd as well as other problems. I really needed a way to keep track of all my medical information as well as track symptoms and mood and medication and my period, which seemed impossible or extremely hard until I found this app. The free version of Guava has plenty to offer, I can track all of the stuff that I need to and even set reminders to help me make sure to do it. The interface is not complicated in my opinion, you just have to play around with it and explore it a little when you first use it and make it the way you want it to be, then after that logging stuff is super easy. Of course, no app is perfect, but in my opinion, this app is really good especially since it’s free. There is a paid thing that can offer more features but honestly I don’t need it right now plus I don’t have a job for a steady flow of money to pay for it. If you need it or are able to pay for it then i still recommend it to at least support the developers for the amazing free part of the app. I just love this app and I recommend it to anyone. Even if you don’t end up liking it, it won’t cost you anything but a little time to check it out and see how it works for you. Anyways thanks developers for making such an amazing app with most the features free for people like me to access the stuff we need! ❤️Oh yeah, and another thing I love is that it hardly takes up any storage and is compatible with my device, because my device is like 5 years old, a 7th gen iPod Touch which only has a total of 32 GB of storage so that is also a life-saver for me haha.
Got chronic illnesses? You need this app.

I’ve been chronically ill since I was tiny, with my life turning upside down at 10. By my teen years, I had the giant three-ring binder most of us who’ve had to advocate for our health have lugged around to doctor’s appointments to carry all of our lab results, x-rays, chart notes, you name it. But we’re in the digital age now and though I’ve tried other apps and services that have kept track of a couple different things, none have covered them all— that is, until Guava came along. This app is truly all-encompassing and the seamless integration with a whole host of patient portals makes compiling all your information in one place a breeze. Within three minutes of installing Guava, I had records SINCE THE DATE OF MY BIRTH in the app, right up to my vitals at my last doctor’s appointment a couple weeks before. There are a lot of features I haven’t had a chance to try yet but I’m stoked just to see that they’re options— insights, planning for doctor’s appointments ahead of time to maximise your visit, logging your medications… this app is amazing and may just be the resource I’ve been looking for to finally retire that old binder. Thank you, Guava!
