Thank you for this app. For those who are giving it a low rating, there is a history of these things in our culture ... for example do a search for "memento mori". "Memento mori is a Latin phrase meaning "Remember you must die"."Remembering that one's life is finite and that we will all die is also a part of the Mason's initiation ceremony (which involves being present alone in a room with a skull, amonst other things) and also part of Buddhism.Hopefully Joseph will continue to update the app as:- life tables increase (or decrease) over time- with options key risk factors (or things you could be doing to prolong life), such as whether you smoke (and how many years for), level of exercise, diabetes, obseity However, these very general lifetables ARE used in the insurance industry to determine life expectancy (without reference to obseity and other risk factors) and therefore the level of compensation that is to be paid ... so even without the inclusion of key risk factors (that could extend or shorten one's life expectancy) this is app is still useful : )

I find this app simple, easy, and fun. I know I'm not actually going to die then, or most likely going to die then, but it's fun to put in random dates like 1900 and stuff :-)for those of you who are complaining: •if you think this app is sick and you don't get why anyone would want to know when they die, why did you get it? if you wanted to know, you would get it. if not, you wouldn't have. •it's not real, it just takes the average of deaths over time, and if you're male you're most likely to die at a certain age and the same for female, based on averages. there's no need to be freaked out. •stop complaining! I know there will always be people that will dislike apps, but please, don't complain unless you really understand what you're saying! most of you who rated this app low found it depressing, scary, or stupid. you have to understand that it's just for fun and based on averages. some people grow to be 110-ages can really differ! so please, stop complaining, I'm sick of it.thanks for reading! hope you enjoy the app! =)

Does what it says, up to a point.If the calculation is going to be down to the split second, why not ask for the hour and minute of the user's birth?Also, inputting a birth date that is older than it's estimated lifespan (Jan. 1, 1904 for example) yields an inaccurate and unsatisfying response. Something more clever should be the result. ("You are on overtime"?)Yes, birth dates before 1 January 1891 result in "You are dead", but what about dates that are not impossibly old and yet merely running this program is likely to give the person a fatal heart attack?

They incorperate polution into this app if you look back 20-30 years people are going to live longer then kids born post golf war. Like myself born 1992. So yea it's a near app. Should have a wider range of accuraccy. Are you a smoker? Minus 10 years. Do you play laccrose minus 6. My doctor told me every year I continue to do physically demanding sports like laccrose I lose 1-3 years because of the beating your body gets. That's also true for people who swim alot. Water slowly builds up in your body. And you'll get emphasima. Just some kool facts. =]. But yea a more accurate system would be nicer.
