Cloud support is coming to Rota Calendar and this update brings some underlying changes to allow that to happen. The changes are quite significant but shouldn’t affect any behaviour of the app. You shouldn’t notice any differences other than the items listed below. Other fixes and improvements in this update include: - Dropped iOS 13, minimum supported version is iOS 14. - Fixed issue with Calendar Permissions not carrying across to iOS 17. - AirDrop has temporarily been disabled as some breaking changes introduced with iOS 17 caused it to stop working. Any fixes tie in with cloud work so AirDrop will be reinstated soon. - Improved appearance of date/time pickers. - Confirmation dialog with message before clearing Rota pattern. - Bottom toolbar is always shown by default. This can be changed via iOS Settings -> Rota Calendar.

This update brings the first step towards cloud backup and sync of Rotas across devices. Periodically the Rota data will be migrated to the new format, allowing for any potential issues to be discovered now, whilst the next piece of work is underway. It will happen silently in the background and some analytics have been added to help monitor this.
