Thought the problems I had been having were fixed but today it’s back to the ad being on a black screen and therefore I can’t access the ad supported puzzle. I did get to do the daily puzzle. If the black screen is there tomorrow I won’t be able to do either puzzle. Love this game!!! Having problems with the ad supported puzzle that appears with the free daily puzzle. It’s either a black screen or a circle signaling that it is downloading the puzzle. I just tried to access it and its still trying to download after 22 hours. Having the same problem with the ad supported puzzle. It is doing the circle signaling that it is downloading the puzzle. When this happens you can’t do the daily puzzle or the puzzles that I have purchased. Did the daily puzzle and the ad supported puzzle today and it is still doing the downloading thing. Same problem again. Did daily puzzle and the ad supported puzzles will not download. All I get is the circle signaling that it’s downloading. Can only do one, two, or three puzzles of the daily puzzles before the downloading icon appears. Once that occurs I can’t do anything until the next time the daily puzzles appear. There seems to be a glitch of some sort. Same problem as above. Downloading icon appears and can’t do anything until it goes away. Sometimes this takes 24 hours or more. Getting frustrated, as this seems to occur more and more. Shouldn’t be having the same issue this much.Haven’t been able to play the daily puzzle or the 10 little puzzle also for the past three days. The app will not fully load. It says handshake complete and that’s as far as I can get. There’s is also a number in the left hand corner. It corresponds with the number of times I have tried to open the app.

I have been playing this game for years, there was a time when I put it down but didn’t delete it because I enjoy the puzzles. I enjoyed guessing from the clues and if that wasn’t possible, guessing from the tiles sometimes I have even challenged myself to only guess from the tiles and not even use the clues, because I didn’t like to use the hints. When I came back to the game I noticed the drastic game changes. I am a blind player using Voice Over and I loved how the game was when I first started playing. Now when I go in to the game it has a delay when it only says direct touch area and then it sort of starts to recognize the screen elements and randomly while playing it will not read the screen and go back to just saying direct touch area. Another issue is I am unable to go through each clue letter by letter, which is helpful because sometimes I can’t tell what Voice Over is saying, when I try to use the rotor and swipe down it says something like read clue by word but it doesn’t do that. Lastly is how much I get booted from the game or I will randomly get booted to another app right in the middle of game play. It is just so frustrating playing the game now if you are a Voice Over user, I used to play multiple puzzles a day in one sitting but now I get so frustrated I just do the daily ones and give up. It would really be nice if you guys can do what another player asked for and have a toggle to play using the classic version so that Voice Over users can play without all of the current incompatibilities.

I subscribed to this app for many years. I’ve been a huge fan and have spread the word to countless people who were looking for a new game app. Now it just keeps getting less and less enjoyable while it also gets more and more expensive. I don’t know what the developers are thinking. My first issue was when I’d completed EVERY daily puzzle from the archives, as well as EVERY available moderate, hard and impossible puzzle. Then I started them again. The previously completed puzzles used to have “last played” info so I knew where to start. That’s been taken away so I sometimes start a game and then realize I completed it fairly recently. The subscription price skyrocketed to a ridiculous price. Why would I pay approximately half the monthly cost of a streaming service for a game? Then came changes to the ads for the daily puzzles. Before it wasn’t a big deal because they essentially timed out and returned to the game. Now you have to complete a couple of steps to get rid of most ads. Sometimes . Then there’s the price of the individual games. Most include only 10 puzzles now, which I can often complete in about 15- 25 minutes depending on level of difficulty.. There used to be large puzzle packs that were special sales; 150 or even 250 puzzles per pack, reasonably priced. No longer. Now I warn people about all of the flaws. Too bad because it used to be such a great game! I’ve only ever reviewed one app but this one felt necessary to me.

[I recalled subscribing in 3-month intervals, but didn’t recall it was only for ad removal (duh). I’ve now fully subscribed for a year and am able to move from one puzzle to the next easily, even when the date is 3 weeks ago! Thank you for suggesting I Restore Purchases, as that got me looking at the options again in light of my changed usage availability. I do love this game and am delighted to be able to play it without frustrations again.] (I’ve really enjoyed this game for many moons, and because I’m not able to keep up with it daily, I’ve been a subscriber for some time also. However, having to scroll through from the Today’s puzzles back to ones missed 2-3 weeks ago for every single missed puzzle—instead of being able to automatically move to the next youngest puzzle (as I was able to do enough [occasional] times to put up with when I wasn’t). However, now that it’s more than one week of scrolling, I’m feeling frustrated enough that I will NOT RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION unless it becomes possible to move through the entire month more automatically moving from oldest to newest puzzles.
