A ton of fun but please make this playable without having to spend a ton of money. That’s where it doesn’t remain fun anymore. Some of the filter upgrades and pond decor koin amount just doesn’t make sense. From premium filter costing 15 koin for 10 fish capacity to the next being ultra filter for 12 capacity costing 50 koins? It’s just two more fish? And the red rock costs double what the grey rock does? It doesn’t make sense to me. You might as well stick to breeding the low cost fish anyway because the actual benefits of breeding rare fish doesn’t surpass how much it costs to breed them. This would be such a successful and popular game if it was playable without having to rely on in app purchases. Otherwise everything like breeding takes a ridiculous amount of time and then I forget about the game completely. Also, in app backups are not working and I’m not able to visit my friends ponds nor can they visit mine. Please fix these issues, it would be so so worth it for your users.
Like flushing money down the toilet

I’m going to start by simply saying this: do not download this app.I had this app a few years ago and had a pretty big koi collection in at least 3 ponds. Now not only is all of that gone forever but there is no way for me to back up my current collection unless I pay for it. Most other apps will let you back up for free. It seems like this app is always trying to get you to pay for something, be it koins or credits or the ability to back up your game data. This is garbage. Plus, there is no way to connect the app to Facebook because it says that it’s in “development mode.” I think that the developers just abandoned this game and aren’t removing it from the App Store because it still makes money even in its current state. The reason I uninstalled the game in the first place is because it requires you to visit every day and keep the pond clean or else your fish die. I didn’t have that kind of time then and I don’t have that kind of time now, especially now that the app is even worse than it was before. I downloaded this app again for my daughter but I will be looking for something else now- a better, well maintained app that actually deserves my money. I will be uninstalling after I leave this review.
While it’s fun. It’s confusing and annoying

So the koi guide is basically useless. And you can’t connect anything to hang with friends so your stuck with the taunt of “do this with a friend and you get some free stuff”. Then the filters for the ponds barely stay clean despite them saying that they last a few days (upgraded). But they basically get dirtier at the same time if not faster then and the standard. The koin spin is rigged to where you will either get 0 or you’ll get 1. In the rare chance that you get more than that it will be just barely holding onto the peg that would let it give you ten. I rightfully won 10 koins but they said “faulty, spin again” Add onto the fact that the daily gifts give you a free koi (gets annoying after the first pond fills up and you can’t afford a new on or don’t want to have to clean double the filters). Or a dragonfly pack of around 12 that after a while you have too many to count. Even after that the dragonflies are there one moment. Then gonna the next. You don’t even tap them to kill them and they disappear. They took something that was supposed to be soothing. And turned it into a lottery (literally during the koin spin) or micro transactions filled annoyance
I Always Come Back

I do wish this app had more updates and more realistic koi patterns. New decorations and backgrounds would be cool too. However, I’ve played this game for ages off and on. I’ll delete it and come back to it. My cats also like it. Usually when life gets very stressful I find my way back to this game. I love the ambiance choices, they’re so peaceful. My favorite is the light thunderstorm. It’s a great game to pass the time with. I hope you guys make a new one some day! (Unless I missed it already lol) More than anything, I deeply appreciate the lack of ads. Thank you, thank you for not cluttering your peaceful app with them. I originally got this on the Kindle Fire. I’m glad it’s still around :)
