I used it four years ago and it was less than adequate. I saw in the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America Owner news for January and February 2024 that it is now free for MOA members.Has anyone tested this recently and put some feedback out anywhere?

I tried to download some maps to no avail. The app said it was downloading, I have plenty of signal and after two hours no maps and the app confirmed that. Oh I tried to find what was the problem and went the FAQ and tried to use the users manual, which was a joke. Nada, nothing. A waste of time. I don’t like being a negative nelly but I found nothing in the app that worked. I use navigation apps at my job all day every day and when I am traveling ashore. I’m a big fan of backcountry hiking and have mapping programs for those pursuits. I have an app for when I am bicycling. The Tourstart app can not hold a candle to any of them. There does seem to be some good ideas in the mix that unfortunately don’t work and I have high hopes that with diligent efforts on the developers part they may be successful eventually. I would not have this available to the public until you have vetted it with people in the know as your going to ruin your customer base with negative ratings. So my suggestion is to take it off the market, work like hell to get a good stable product, change the name so old attitudes don’t follow you and make a splash. Seriously

Wow! I wouldn’t even give this app 1 star but I guess I had to. To complicated and I ran out of time quickly to figure it out. Finger draw would have been a good concept but to small to use and it doesn’t follow the route I wanted to go. I could sure use the app space for something else. Sorry Tourstart, your gone! Deleted! Just like that! Ha!

I think you are too hard on us. The FingerDraw map/screen are limited by the size of your phone, and this is small by nature. Have you tried other features than the FingerDraw? /Jan Agnoletti Pedersen, Founder of Tourstart.

Looks like it may be an ok program, eventually, but currently is lacking; (Jan 2024).Not intuitive at all. I searched every icon presented & could not find how to place a waypoint or to ‘draw’ a route. Waste too much of a prospective user’s time & we’ll head back to those apps/programs we know.
