This seafaring mix of ship combat, crafting, trade, and exploration immediately hooked us with its frothy dialogue and adorable animation, and it kept us coming back to upgrade our ships with ever-mightier weapons. One of the best smartphone games made. Great story, characters, boats, and weapons. Be forewarned that the developers have two other supported games and one of them prompts in the app to download and play this game months ago. Once player is “hooked” as they say, the developers pulled the plug. No more weekly battles, no more chests, no more rewards which means players cannot upgrade boats or “heroes”. The game is perpetually stuck. Other reviews say since this happened if you delete app and reinstall it the achievements wii be erased forever starting over at beginning. There’s no way to get it back since the weekly events and arena battles where you get important resources battling with other gamers are gone. I only played for months. In order to advance it demands lots of investments and time. I cannot imagine those who paid and played “hooked” for years and then suddenly all their time and money and virtual resources gone. Nothing is stopping app developers from abandoning their other games which is concerning especially if you pay or put time into it. Would be terrible for this to happen to other game apps. Developers seemingly ignoring requests to bring pipower back!

My name is EpicEric, and I am a Pirate Power addict. I play all kinds of games on my phone, but I always find myself coming back to adventure on the high seas! The characters are all unique and give the game a real RPG feel. The ships, weapons and power-ups offer an endless array of combinations. It's always interesting to see what kinds of ships other players built. Being able to give and receive gifts from them is a plus. And I really don't mind the in-app purchases because I feel I'm getting a good deal every time. I just wish there was a way to exchange some of the pirates for floor, coins or much-needed boat parts or weapons. Some of the characters are pretty useless and only take up space at the Inn because I never bother leveling them up, let alone use them.

This game was actually kind of a surprise to me. I downloaded in on a whim because it looked interesting, like I do every month or so. But this game surprised me in the sense that it has a small storyline and quests. You're not building a kingdom or society. The only building you do is simply to help you upgrade your ship so you can battle other pirates in the world. And the graphics are kind of adorable. They remind me of animal crossing.Love this game :)But I was wondering if anyone has an answer to this, I just got past The Doge and now I don't know what to do next. No covered spaces to buy, and no new missions. I'm trying to level up enough to do The Twins on hard mode, but I don't see any way to move on from my current point in the game otherwise. I'm lvl 27 (almost 28) and my characters are between lvls 18 and 23. Is there anything else I need to do before I can advance from here? Is there anything to advance towards?
