It’s good but could use some improvements

I think the option of having push notifications would be great outside of having emailed notifications. I also think that there should be dark mode support. It is pretty strenuous to look like for long periods of time. I’d love to see this app updated to adopt the new iOS 26 Liquid Glass aesthetic. It would make the experience feel more modern and cohesive.

Doesn’t Recognize the Tip line

The OCR doesn’t recognize the handwritten tip and total at all (only recognizes the pre-tip total) and there is no way to override this or correct it once uploaded. This causes the receipt upload to be worthless once in Chrome River because it doesn’t automatically attach to the expense and even worse chrome River won’t allow you to just attach it anyway because the program thinks the totals don’t match because Emburse has a different total associated with it and won’t allow it. So you have to download the receipt to your phone camera from Emburse and then upload yourself into chrome river. Completely worthless app and total downgrade from Snap. I’ll have to go back to keeping paper receipts and just uploading within the Chrome River app itself. What a pain.

This app has made a huge leap forward. It is incredibly easy to capture my expenses, the automatic categorization and data extraction makes it so I am mostly just checking accuracy. Then I easily created my report. This made it so when I was home, I finished the last piece with my airport parking. Time saved. Sanity saved.
Completed expenses on my flight. So easy, so efficient.

I’ve been using Emburse Enterprise for about a year. First, it always has been better than other expense apps. However, the recent upgrade has supercharged the app! It pulls the data right out of the receipts when I take pictures. It has made it even easier to document and submit my expenses.
