This app is a very innovative way to approach networking. As an introvert, this app makes “the first step” for you by “matching” you with people according to your preferences set up in your profile. I was able to meet people I probably wouldn’t have meet any other way. I like that it makes you accountable on being intentional with your networking, since you only have 1 week to actually message and connect with the person, so it is not a swipe and forget situation. Was introduced to this app by Savannah K. of the Houston Chapter of Texas Young Professionals (TYP) and as a business professional I must say, it’s awesome to have access to a social media platform that focuses primarily on networking events! Having a centralized space that keeps track of upcoming events & connections made is highly convenient. Would highly recommend utilizing this app for individuals looking to network in their area and/or entities looking to bring more exposure to their events.
