we're very excited to announce, folsom 2.0 :) we've heard your feedback, we've toiled in the forges, and we hope you like all the excited changes and additions! a few highlights in the folsom 2.0 release: - a brand new home screen that centers your folsom-experience around the people that matter most to you - an anonymous public feed for you to be able to anonymously share feelings with non-confidants, and see what others across the soulular plane are feeling - speak your reflections by have your reflections be voice-note-based in addition to text - hold yourself accountable by setting intentions, and working towards completing your friendship and reflection goals - a new inbox view where you can see check-ins and love notes that you've sent and received - expanded reflection prompts library more to come soon - stay tuned, and please keep the feedback coming, and the love spreading!

we've totally revamped the image generation feature! we've added 100 new image styles, and we've made the experience more seamless and fault tolerant by generating the images in the background

we're working on some infrastructure improvements to get updates to you faster - only the freshest cuts for the folsom fam

we're making it easier to tell your friends that you love them. life is short why not tell the people who mean something to you why the mean something to you

we've heard your feedback, and we've made it much easier to add and invite friends to folsom. we've streamlined the experience, and also made confidant requests much more prominent, and have added the ability to "snooze" them if you want to hold off on deciding if you want to invite someone into your trusted inner circles. we've also added the ability for you to add confidants from the app, even if you do not enable access to your contacts. while the experience will still be far better with contacts enabled, you can now search by phone number for friends to be able to add them. finally, we've improved and made more prominent the ability to define a fully custom generated image prompt to express your feeling in exactly the way you want to we've made a few other fixes and improvements, including continuing to refine the experience of posting a feeling.

not sure how you're feeling sometimes? we've introduced some new features to help! you can now cycle through alternative reflection prompts that probe at specific emotions you might be feeling. you can also explore a growing dictionary of emotion words to see what words might resonate. both of these features are still experimental and we are actively looking for thoughts and feedback for how to take them to the next level! we've also fixed some bugs here and there, such as notifications for affirmations not going through

fixing some critical bugs related to the app reloading at inconvenient times, as well as push notifications not working - shoutout and thanks to Tony C for the feedback and enduring those issues!

we're starting to revamp the profile page for a better understanding of your folsoming some slight tweaks on the feeling posting page you can retroactively make a feeling private by clicking on the three dots

we've built upon our new emotions lexicon capabilities, and now support highlighting and show definitions for emotion words that are suggested by ChatGPT throughout the app as well! We've also fixed some bugs, notably fixing the friendship page from breaking when you load it for someone you havent accepted a confidant request from yet.

- love notes sent to your fellow confidants are now shown more prominently in the main feed :) we hope this means y'all will send love to your homies more often, and be able to more easily see notes you receive - we care above all about creating a safe and supporting environment for sharing vulnerably. to that end, we've instituted content moderation to automatically block and/or flag content that is deemed inappropriate in accordance with our community guidelines. we are still tweaking the parameters of this moderation, so please feel free to pass along any feedback on where we might be able to improve in this area - we've improved and clarified some of the language and UX in the onboarding experience

we've totally revamped the onboarding and feels posting experiences! we've tried to make both more clear and articulate as to what the user needs to do, as well as orient the user to the app more clearly. as always, feedback is warmly appreciated!

a few various fixes and UX improvements: - friend request notifications in-app now link to the friend request - images are full-screen in the timeline - the font sizes are a little bigger to help with readability - big improvements to the performance of generate images
