Turn cellular data off for go look app.

I just recently received this dash cam as a gift. For anyone that runs into this problem I would like to save you time lol. Go to your settings on your iPhone and go to cellular. Scroll down until you see the option “show all” click that and scroll down and find the app “go look” turn off cellular data. This will allow you to use cellular data while the dash cam is recording while you’re driving. So far I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s working fine. I personally think the night vision is poor quality but other than that so far so good:) Also just to clarify you DO NOT HAVE TO TURN CELLULAR DATA COMPLETELY OFF only for the app itself.

You have to connect to Wifi from dash cam on your iPhone. You don't have to disconnect from cell service. It will connect to camera while connected to cell phone service.

For this to work with your iphone you need to turn off your cell signal in settings and connect to the hotspot created by the camera. The iphone will default to trying to get internet from the cell signal if a hotspot doesn't have an internet connection. This is what causes all the issues connecting to the camera. Once you turn off cell signal it should work perfectly. It took me quite a while to figure this out. Hopefully this review will save you some frustration!

In your phone settings you have to make sure you turn off the setting that allows this to use your cellular data in order for you to be able to use cell data and have the camera linked to the app at the same time.
