I never leave reviews on products but since I have had the hardest time finding a pair of earbuds that fit comfy and check all the boxes it might help someone else with the same issues. I have tiny ear canals and most earbuds fall out of my ears with the tiniest of movements including my mouth. If I open my mouth to drink water while exercising they come out ! NOT THESE. I used the small size attachment and they are PERFECT. I love the way they feel in my ears also.. may sound weird but they are perfectly weight balanced so they don’t feel like they will create pressure or make my ears sore after wearing them for lengths of time. I also love the noise cancellation they provide. It’s better than any of tried. I’m so glad I went with my gut on these and bought them. If you have small ears BUY THEM 😊

When I got my new earbuds I set my preferences for volume and scrolling through songs, etc. this was a huge pain as it is not clear which earbud you are selecting and how many taps for each command. They need toggle switches or something instead. Sometimes the earbuds lose connection even when my phone is in my pocket. It will create a static sound or one earbud will go out completely. I get frustrated because if my arm is by my ear (like during yoga or trimming trees etc) it will change or restart my song when I don’t want it to. I tried to go back to change my settings and the app is clearly out. It won’t let me do anything because it says I need to allow Bluetooth in settings (there is no such option and Bluetooth is already on) there was no update available so I had to delete the app and redownload. Now I can not connect the app to my ear buds at all. I tried forgetting device on my phone and starting over and it still will not connect to the app. Thankfully it did reconnect to my phone, but the app specifically says it is not connecting to the ear buds. Extremely frustrating as I would like to change settings, now I’m stuck with $300 earbuds that I have no “control” over.

Update even after the most recent QCE app update: auto shutdown still occurs when lying down. Now it’s after maybe 20 minutes but it still happens. There’s no good excuse for this. Bose, if you’re reading this: lay down in bed and put the earbuds in. See what happens in about 20-25 minutes. I can confirm what others have observed: if you are lying down (and not moving around), these disconnect after 15 minutes or so. You CANNOT disable this in the app. I’ve tried to talk to Bose support and they have not been helpful: they say they are not aware of this issue and just give me the same song and dance about doing a reset, etc…which, as a long time Bose user, I already know aboutLook, these have great sound quality and the improved battery life is great. But much of my personal use involves chilling out in the evenings and listening to jazz while laying down. It’s a huge disappointment that Bose implement this feature and not allow someone to disable. Bose, as a long time customer, I’m very disappointed. Get this fixed!!!

I wear these with the noise cancelling on when I dry my hair (and other times my hair is wet or damp, like exercise, cooking, hiking, cleaning. These earbuds register even the slightest brush of wet hair against them as a touch, pausing my music, changing the volume, switching modes between aware/quiet/off and activating the pairing mode. Before drying my hair (almost every day)I have to individually turn all 8 options off, waiting for it to load each time- then afterwards I have to remember how I set each of them up later to turn touch functionality back on. Please give us a one touch button option to toggle touch controls on or off.Also, for pairing and multi point, why doesn't this app let me see all the devices my buds have been paired to in the app? And why doesn't it let me connect to those devices from the app with a toggle switch like the other bose apps? This causes problems when all the QCE tell me is "paired" but not to which device. Specifically I struggle to connect them to my PS5 because I can't tell the PS5 to connect to the buds, I just have to try again and again until the two devices find each other. Having the toggle switch in the app solves this problem for my other bose over-ear headphones but the QCE app doesn't let me do this with my buds. Also, where can I see the battery life for the CASE itself, in addition to the battery life for the buds themselves? Why is this not shown? It's difficult to guess how much is left in the case. The various bose apps should be consolidated so I don't have 3 bose apps taking up space but that's another story. Otherwise I really do like these earbuds.
