EGO Connect is an interactive experience for optimizing, controlling, and enjoying your connected EGO equipment. With the EGO Connect app, you can:
• Easily pair your connected product with the EGO Connect app through a smart Bluetooth connection that notifies you when a nearby connected product is detected.
• Register your products with EGO to start the warranty coverage period.
• Add your products to a virtual garage and give them a custom nickname.
• Organize your products to quickly access those you use most frequently.
• Quickly view battery charge status and total energy remaining of the EGO battery/batteries you are using with the product.
• Dynamically view and change product usage and performance settings (type and availability of settings are product-specific).
• View usage history of your product.
• Receive diagnostic notifications and details to take appropriate action on to keep your product running.
• Update firmware of connected products for performance improvements and bug fixes.
• Browse relevant parts and accessories and easily make online purchases.
• Quickly identify nearby authorized EGO dealers to route your EGO products for service or make additional in-store purchases.
• Access user manuals, product details and tech specs, FAQs, or contact customer support; easily submit feedback about your connected products.
Connected ride-on mowers have additional functionality through the EGO Connect app including:
• Mow with your phone as a map-based dashboard; see where you’ve mowed, how long, how fast, blade speed, and more.
• Use your phone as a remote key.
• View overall and per mowing session usage history in a variety of categories.
• View blade life remaining and replacement reminders.

Non-connected EGO products may be added to EGO Connect using provided QR code scan tool or manually entering serial numbers with the app. Non-connected products may be registered with EGO using EGO Connect and users will have access to non-connected functionality, such as viewing equipment information, user manual, accessories, and more.
Two years ago, I started searching for a suitable electric lawnmower. After 11 attempts, I finally stopped searching when I found the ego lawnmower. It’s simply perfect. That started my obsession to try to get as many of these compatible devices as I could. I think I have eight different pieces of equipment so far, four 5ah batteries and 3!7.5ah batteries. Hoping they last long, because I’ll have to decide, a new car or replace my batteries…. The last purchase I made, this evening, is the ego, wet, dry vac. UNBELIEVABLE! Seriously, they thought of everything! Even a remote control that also provides a functional light for your accessories at the end of the hose. I’ve already gotten four of my neighbors to replace their lawn mowers. Maybe it’s time to start asking for a commission:)
App is great but a charge timer is needed

We love our mower and the app makes connecting to change settings a breeze HOWEVER there are a few things I feel it needs. I want to be able to be notified when my mower is done charging so i can go do something else and not worry about forgetting. Also, there’s no sense in checking battery status in the app because i pretty much have to be out in the garage before it’s going to connect to the mower. So even if you can’t add something like WiFi connectivity to the machine so that my phone can get push notifications from the mower, you could, when the mower is plugged in, have it automatically connect to the app if you’re near the machine and start a countdown timer to fully charged. Then i can walk away and have my phone alert me when the timer is done, even if it’s not perfect, it’ll be close. Maybe add a few minutes to the timer so it will be sure to be at 100% when it goes off. Please consider adding something like this.

I recently purchased a select cut self propelled lawnmower from Lowe’s. I read a ton of reviews. I also studied numerous videos on EGO tools to evaluate opinions and customer satisfaction. The great reviews were accurate. I cut my sizable front and back yards and was very impressed with my mower. The charging of my batteries was very quick and easy. I then decided to buy the weed eater/blower combo this morning. The EGO representative happened to be there at Lowe’s and answered my questions. He was very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Just finished using all three and I’m completely satisfied with their operation and results. I highly recommend EGO tools.

I’ve been chasing rechargeable batteries since the 80s. I purchased an ego, power mower, blower, and weed whacker. I fell in love. My daughter just bought a house, so my housewarming gift was another mower for her. I just purchased a multihead with the sidewalk edger, and an additional battery. In the future, I’ll probably get the power station as that thing looks awesome. My generator is 30 years old and extremely noisy. I would highly recommend the system to anyone serious about yardwork. My only regret as I live in the south is that I don’t have a need for the snowblower.
