Great App, but...

This has been one of my favorite alarms for over a year now since it's reliable 90% of the time and is good quality. My main issue comes from the app recently moving to a subscription use. I don't understand why suddenly they are choosing to charge a monthly fee for the app after so long. While I understand $2.49 a month isn't necessarily bad, suddenly going from free to a fee is annoying.

Goes to some random song instead of letting me play music

Whenever I try to play a song, it gives me an error message (“there was an error playing your song. Sorry! Playing the backup song.”) only to go on to play a song that starts off with noises I can only describe as horrid purely because I have heard it so many times. I don’t understand why it says that the song I want to play is available in the app only to not play it. No matter what I do, it will not play the songs I want. It won’t let me know beforehand that the song will not work either, leading me to have to wake up to that sickening noise or listen to it again every minute as I try to fix the error. It’s driving me insane, and I hope this gets fixed soon. For now, my rating will stay a 1 star.

I used to be wiling to overlook the flaws of this app until it said I’ve reached my “free alarm limit.” Very rich of an app to expect me to pay when I’ve missed multiple alarms because 1) I accidentally closed the app which completely resets the app and causes the alarm to cancel or 2) It just straight up did not go off for some reason. I’ve even been nervous to use it lately in the event that I don’t notice that it’s closed and my alarm doesn’t go off. On top of that, I’ve had multiple times where it will play random music instead of the song I chose. I was willing to overlook these flaws since it was very convenient and worked MOST of the time, but I refuse to pay for it. Deleting and never looking back!

I enjoy it because it’s very simple and never charges you anything . You can also play whatever song you want so that you never get bored of your alarm. I would really suggest this app. It also never fails to wake me up, meaning it’s the right level of volume and it is a great song (smoked away my brain). It’s also simple to turn off in the morning except I would want to so I could finish the rest of my song / alarm . Get this app if you need a new alarm sound.
