Astro Glider 1.7 brings 3 brand new pickups, major UI improvements & more! Dimension 1: - Introducing the Shrink Missiles, a new rare rarity pickup dropping into the first dimension. The Shrink Missiles are rapid new projectile you can pickup and fire automatically. Upon impact, they will shrink that segment of world, clearing an easier path for you! Fires two at a time. - Navigation System revamp! The onscreen UI has been removed for increased invisibility. In addition, the portal pinging functionality has been drastically increased too. The Navigation System just levelled up! - Shrink Ray spawn rate decreased from 32% → 28% Dimension 2: - Introducing The Heart Of The Sun, a new mythic rarity pickup dropping into the second dimension! The Heart Of The Sun transforms nearby Star pickups into Super Star pickups! The best part? The HOTS has no timer, only a meteor impact can break it! Dimension 3: - Introducing the Attack Drone, a new mythic rarity pickup dropping into the third dimension! The Attack Drone targets nearby turrets and takes them out! It does however need 2 seconds to reload. In addition to this, the Attack Drone will also take a turret bullet for you, providing extra protection in this dangerous dimension! You can get it back, but its super rare to find again! - Dimension 3 will no longer reset after leaving! This means if you travel back to Dimension 3 after leaving, you will resume at the wave you left at & will be presented with the Laster Cannon level you had equipped previously and a brand new Attack Drone! - The Astro Cannon gets an upgrade! Collect a second while having one active to upgrade to level 2, doubling its fire rate! The Tractor Beam autonomously pulls in nearby pickups towards your ship, allowing you to collect more pickups than ever before for 10 seconds! - The generation of D1 will not only see lightly easier generation algorithms, but also a new set of obstacles that are not less difficult than its counter parts! - The Speed Setbacks speed decreasing value has been buffed from 3 to 4! - Lightspeed distance, time & points reward increased slightly. - Cosmic Maelstrom spawn rate increased from 10%→15%. The Maelstrom spawns only after a player has reached 1000+ points. It won’t destroy your ship, but it will blow you off your path! - Navigation System can now ping portals through walls, signalling portals with glowing dots the same colour of the portals destination (Red for D2, Blue for D3) - The overall brightness of D1 has been increased! - Both Lightspeed fuel & Exo Shields will be easier to find, with increased spawn rates to both! Dimension 1: - Introducing the Exo-Shield, Dimension 1’s new Legendary tier pickup that spawns at the beginning of every players journey . The Exo-Shield keeps protects you from any impact in dimension 1, giving you more time to stabilise and adjust to your surroundings. Any impact or portal entry will disable the Exo-Shield, but yes, you can get it back! - We have also adjusted the world generation of Dimension 1 to allow more clear passages to generate, making it easier to fly even faster! - Cloaks & Shrink Rays can now stack endlessly! - Cloak spawn rate decreased from 30% → 28% - Shrink Ray spawn rate decreased from 40% → 34% - Portals to Dimension 2 & Dimension 3 spawning criteria have increased to 50 & 100 points respectively from 25 & 50 points Dimension 2: - Nothing to report here, stay safe in there!
