I had to leave a review because this is one of the coolest community based apps I’ve ever used. When I try to explain it to people I sometimes get weird looks - I think because most people are so jaded from greedy app developers nowadays. But I’ve been using loop for a few months now and it brings me so much joy. You can basically trade items with others in your community using a credit system. The app works really well, I’ve never had an issue with it, it’s free to use, I can get rid of extra items around my house and pass them on to people who will actually use them. Unlike donating to certain organizations that amass so much stuff a lot of it ends of going to landfill. Plus I’ve gotten various high quality items I use literally every day! Like a nice set of Crate and Barrel ceramic dishes, and a cast iron patio dining set that cost $300 new. No cash out of my pocket. Just trading! Highly recommend!

Loop has been an invaluable tool and resource since I first started using it. It’s an innovative platform and concept different from anything else I’ve used. I’m always looking for ways to give items new life, repurpose what I can, or get things into the hands of people who will use them. Loop does all of that so simply and seamlessly; it’s literally as easy as leaving something at the door. On the other side, it brought joy into my family’s life on day one of using it: my 4-year-old pedaled a bike we picked up through Loop for the very first time. That moment alone was worth it. I’ve had the chance to meet some of the team behind Loop, and they’re every bit as focused and thoughtful as the app itself. Loop is a wonderful way to pass on your “no longer needed” items to someone else in the neighborhood that may want them. It also gives you the opportunity to shop for yourself using your Loop credits. I am now enjoying several new to me items and can’t wait to see what else I discover on the app that I will be able to give a second life to from someone that wants to pass them along. Super simple to use the app to sell and to purchase with your Loop credits. Professional and quick to respond if you have questions - Seth is on it with his vision for updated features so the app will only get better and better. It’s the best thing around to earn some ‘Loop money’ for things you no longer need. I am a big fan!

Love this app from both a sustainability and an ease standpoint. It’s the easiest decluttering tool I own. No selling with lots of pics, answering people’s questions, getting payment, leaving on porch for days and sending your personal address to many people. Instead it’s streamlined through the loop app. Wild that it’s completely no cash - you cannot buy more credits, only selling more items to gain credits if there is something you see that you’d like. We’ve traded for 2 toys, a ladder and an outside climber toy for my son all while passing along some great things that no longer serve us. I hope to see this prototype expand! They are responsive, pick up quickly and deliver quickly.
