I have always hated photos of myself. I have always taken care of everyone else. married 32 years to a wonderful man. We had 5 children and just as we became empty nesters when we were called to do foster care for a grandchild and his brother, that led us to foster many more, subsequently when our kiddos ran out of options we adopted, adding 6 more children with special needs. Currently 3 of our 11 children are still adolescents. My husband of 32 years developed a terminal illness being diagnosed April 2022. I was his sole care provider. I became a widow in October 2024. My heart will forever belong to Tom. I decided it’s time to focus on self care, having a relationship with myself, learning to love myself. I’d been feeling drained, bone tired, old and unattractive, so I needed to change the reflection in the mirror. I decided to try this app to find the change in hairstyle I needed. Within a few moments the app helped me to see the changes I needed. That inspiration was very affordable, easy to use taking only a few moments. For the first time ever I love my reflection.

I paid for a trial subscription of the app, which was fine. I agreed to pay for the trial, but it’s not a great app honestly. The options are pretty limited and many times the results it gives look weird and disproportionate. The REAL problem came though when I was charged $20 and I sent an email to a company called Asana Rebel that shows up as the name of who charged me, it was for this app but their response in their reply email was to claim I didn’t have an account with them. Well yeah, I deleted the app because I hadn’t thought it was great and wasn’t continuing to use it past the trial. So why am I being charged $20 for a product I don’t have an account for and can’t use?! On top of it, when I Googled Asana Rebel, results were talking about a yoga app that people were also complaining was a scam and have difficulties canceling subscriptions with and getting refunds from. Apparently the same company tried to create this junky app instead or in addition to their already previously created money scamming app/s? I’ve submitted a complaint with PayPal. Hopefully they can get my money back as this company and app is clearly awful. On top of it the email they list when telling people to respond in their replies on these reviews isn’t even the same email address I was told by PayPal to contact them at when requesting cancellation and refund. It was support@asanarebel or something like that rather than support@filterly

I can't get past the amount of time wasted and money lost or stolen that needs to be sacrificed by customers, only to be told very kindly that they appreciate the feedback, it was so helpful, as they ignore the glaring issues with their service and billing....and so it goes. If you like the product and think the praise will push them to fix their issues to keep a good customer...you are only going to end up poorer and frustrated. it looks like they will continue to politely slap you across the face and thank you for your input and then ignore what they are doing wrong. Looks and feels like the passive aggressive narcissist your sister was married to ... they are perfect and if you want them badly enough you will end up trauma bonded and paying dearly until you can manage to leave them and get them to stop taking your money. Seems like a high price to pay to only get a small amount of what was promised, no matter how good it won't work if it not enough to be useful. To be billed for what you aren't getting and no longer want seems a little sadistic ...since they would rather do nothing and get away with something than fix the problems that would only benefit both you and them!?!Is any app worth this much time, effort and aggravation?

This app has potential, and if you are willing to subscribe it could be good! However they make you create an account to use the app. Which ok fine whatever. But they only let you generate maybe 6 images and then you have to subscribe,even though you created an account. It doesn’t reset either. I was waiting for days, and it still wouldn’t let me use the filters without subscribing. It would be a great feature if it reset after a day, or if you could watch ads for more.
