As a teacher, I love Paper2Audio! It’s not hard these days to find lesson plans and supporting materials online that I could use in the courses I teach. In fact, it’s almost too easy; the limiting factor for me is really just the amount of time I’m able to put aside to actually evaluate all the options I find. With Paper2Audio, my workflow has changed radically though, and I now feel way more confident that the choices I make about my curriculum are well-informed, and that they incorporate the best possible resources for me and my students. I *strongly* recommend using this app if you’re a teacher with any interest in exploring new lesson plans and new materials to use in your classes. It’s a major time-saver and exactly what I needed to take my teaching to the next level.

A rare find — free, unlimited, and truly useful

I spent an entire day searching for a free text‑to‑speech app after nearly committing to a paid ElevenReader subscription. Finding Paper2Audio felt like striking gold — not only is it completely free, but it also allows unlimited file imports. As someone who struggles with solo reading, having my documents, books, and articles read aloud in clear, natural voices has been a game‑changer. The interface is simple, the playback quality is great for long listening sessions, and it handles different file types effortlessly. If you value accessibility, or just want a smooth, hands‑free way to consume content, I can’t recommend Paper2Audio enough.

My new fave TTS
moodleisgoof
This is honestly a life saver. I have ADHd and have difficulty reading words off a page. My job requires a LOT of reading- so, I have been fooling around with TTS apps for a while and they can be very expensive. This has been free and has delivered a better product that is easier for me to set up than competitors, automatically converting only relevant text (I read academic publications, it is pretty good at filtering out citations) It also summarizes figures fairly accurately. There are still a few glitches in the reading but all of the apps I’ve used struggle with that. I really have such positive feelings about this app. Amazing.

Remarkable

This is exactly the app I’ve been looking for. There are many TTS apps out there but I had yet to find one that delivers consistently and with high-quality voice, unless I was asked to pay outrageous sums of money. It’s so simple to use, yet you can tell they’ve worked to iron out the kinks that I’ve seen in every other app. The fact that this service is free and without ads, is truly remarkable and I want to thank the devs to the end of the internet and back. You’ve made my life as a student infinitely easier. Now if I could just find a link to donate to you guys, I would!
