Had the app all of 5 minutes before canceling my subscription and requesting a refund. The app simply doesn’t work. I tried using it to identify human bones for my osteology class but it kept giving me an error that it couldn’t identify any type of bone when that’s literally all that was in the picture. Will be asking Apple for a refund. Don’t waste your money.

The app relies on the OpenAI API for image analysis, and while the technology is advanced, it can sometimes struggle if the photo isn’t taken under optimal conditions or if the model hasn’t seen enough examples of a particular bone type.To increase accuracy, try: • Using a clear, well-lit photo with a plain background• Ensuring the bone is the main focus (crop out unnecessary areas)• Taking multiple angles of the bone if possibleWe understand how important reliable identification is for your studies, and if you’re still dissatisfied, you can request a refund directly through Apple.

It would be cool if it worked - tried to identify bone I found - all other online sources labeled it a tibia, and later verified as such by a medical doctor, but this app repeatedly and confidently ID’s as an adult human femur at multiple angles lacking any data on size of the bone and clear lack of distinguishing femur features. That was a $1.99 I’ll never get back.
