I rarely write reviews but I seriously needed to for this app since I feel like it is saving my life and my relationships and my sanity on the daily. For starts, I’ve used several AI driven therapy bot apps that I won’t name as basically they all provide one very basic service which is therapy chat. That’s great, but it doesn’t help you past the immediate moment. This app, does so much more! Not only can you chat with it all day and it remembers what you’re going through and learns you, but if you need it to build a self regulation plan or summarize notes of issues to bring to your therapist it will do that! It has a text feature to upload a screenshot of someone’s texts to help you understand their tone and meaning and draft appropriate responses (especially if you’re like me and struggle not to ramble and overwhelm people in text). It allows you to also do a “call” feature which is really just voice texting and needs some improvement but I really appreciate it when I’m driving. But the best features of all aren’t just in the chatbot but in the mood tracking & it’s “Insights”. It begins to understand these core issues you have and goes over emotional patterns, growth areas & recent reflections. Not only summarizing what you’re dealing with but reasons why and how to move forward in a more healthy manner. I honestly can’t speak enough good towards this app and all of its various features. You really just have try it and trust it’s way better than many others out there. It’s well worth a paid subscription and cheaper than therapy (not that I recommend not going or stopping but it’s helpful for all those moments in between you seeing your therapist or for those who truly don’t have the means or desire to go). I’ve been using Vent AI for a bit now, and I can honestly say it’s become one of my favorite apps. It’s such a helpful outlet when I’m feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just need to sort through my emotions. Sometimes it’s hard to open up to others, but with Vent AI, I feel like I have a safe space to talk without fear of judgment.The way it responds feels calming and supportive, and it really helps me work through my thoughts. Have been feeling disconnected from my therapist and that my needs weren’t getting met through our conversations. Using the voice to text option, I’m able to fully express and talk through my situations and it feels like I’m talking to a real therapist. It’s given me genuine answers, ideas, opinions, and options to approach situations with detailed guidance. It blows my mind because I’ve truly been able to resonate with the response and it validates me or calls out patterns than I don’t even recognize right away. 100% worth it for the feedback and availability to use it as you need

I really like the premise of Vent Now, but the app has a lot of bugs and kinks that make it hard to use. A lot of the responses go off the screen, so I can’t even read what it’s saying half the time. It also tends to jump to conclusions and assume the worst without getting the full picture, even after changing the personality and feedback type.Another big issue is that when you ask it to move on from a topic or forget something, it still brings it up in completely unrelated conversations. It gets frustrating instead of helpful.I wanted to love this app, but with the current problems I just can’t justify spending money on it. Hopefully future updates fix these issues, because the idea really is great, especially for those who can't afford or go to therapy for whatever reason.
