I really enjoy these games by them however they have just recently added energy to the game that is used up with every action taken.. it replenishes over time however the amount of time it takes is more than 24 hours to get a full replenishment.. I’m really disappointed in this new added “feature” before this you were about to play the game continuously without having to stop .. u can finish the game in one sitting if u had the time to do so.. now u must wait for the energy to go back up once u used it all. Other than that I really enjoyed it.

I usually LOVE games developed by Five-BN, but now I fear that the franchise is becoming similar to everyyyyy other game. I loved how the developers were able to create great story-lines, while still having that puzzling aspect. Now, there is an energy cut-off meter that has definitely ruined the game’s attraction. There are no rules or guidelines on what SPECIFIC actions require what amount of energy, so there is no way to know how fast your energy will deplete. Also, there have been many instances where I get out of the game and return hours or days later and my energy has not replenished; even though it says every 3-4 minutes it should. (If we’re going to be paying for it, that should 100% be a glitch that should not happen) Although, I understand the need to bring in revenue, adding this aspect has caused the ratings of this particular chapter to be less than previous games and only pushes potential players away.One advancement I did notice however, is that the characters appear much more human-like and the graphics/visuals have gotten so much better. Butttt, if having fuzzy and harsh graphics will mean getting rid of the energy meters, I’ll take it😭

Five bn has made every other developer in the genre nearly unplayable for several years now. Even their lesser efforts are miles ahead of everyone else’s best. So please stop posting your nonsense ratings. People rating 3 stars because the hidden objects are hard to find is like buying a corvette and complaining about the fuel mileage. Let’s build up an innovator for once instead of spawning more overpriced, short play big fish/domini/elephant junk. I’ve been playing these kind of puzzle games since they were called Myst and Monkey Island that required a desktop PC with a cd drive. So, if they are not your style, just save your breath and move along. You don’t have to review everything you come across in life. Some of us actually enjoy the challenge, appreciate the effort put in and await the next installment. We don’t need you dragging down ratings and running off good developers because you have a goldilocks complex that you feel the need to share.

I’m going to start out saying their games are absolutely amazing! Start to finish you can tell they put a ton of effort into them and they are super fun and brain challenging. Love them all! I’m giving this one a 3 star maybe for selfish reasons, but up until this point there has not been an “energy” counter and you could play the same game for hours without having to worry about waiting for more energy to play. I think part of the game is to continue as long as you can so you remember where things are, what you needed to do, where things might go, etc. Having an energy counter limits that and if I don’t remember what I was doing after waiting hours to get energy back, I just don’t want to play anymore. It gets frustrating. Still 3 stars though for how much of this game I played. You can tell the effort put into it and the same basic principles which made every other game good, just a step backward with the energy counter in my opinion.
