The new app is sluggish, didn’t migrate bill payment history,not user friendly, unlike deposit a check before had to do eight times would not recognize the amount of check. Had flood light in shop didn’t work. Eventually went outside in hot sun to make it work. Now that is a terrible product. I still don’t understand why you want to show my joint information to others I know you say it can’t be done but it happens and they do not have my pass word.This is a disaster waiting for something to happen in regards to privacy.

Whoever greenlit this new MAX app deserves to be put in charge of the ice machine in Antarctica — because clearly, they enjoy watching people suffer in cold silence. This “upgrade” is like replacing your car’s engine with a potato and being told it’s innovative.Let me break it down:•Balances update slower than a sloth on NyQuil. I bought a coffee three days ago and my account is still pretending it never happened. Either I’m living in a parallel financial universe or the app’s internal clock is running on dial-up.•Transactions? More like imaginary friends. Sometimes they show up. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they wave from a distance like ghosts of banking past.•The UI feels like it was designed in a group project where everyone failed. Buttons are hidden, navigation is confusing, and I think I accidentally applied for a car loan trying to check my savings.I used to log in, check my balance, pay a bill, and move on with my life. Now I need a sherpa, a flashlight, and a strong drink just to figure out what happened to last Tuesday’s gas station charge.To the decision-makers: Why? Just… why? Who hurt you? Did someone challenge you to ruin the user experience for sport? Mission accomplished. You win. We lose.Please, for the love of all things digital — bring back the old system. Or hire someone’s grandma. She’d at least make the app usable and throw in some banana bread.

I’ve had my mom linked to my account since starting with max many moons ago. The old app had our accounts separate and we couldn’t see each other’s transactions and history. With this new app, it’s combining all our transactions on one screen. I didn’t realize this and just spent a couple hours on the phone trying to figure out where these random transactions were coming from. The rest of the app so far seems ok.

The new app is not very good. Developers have taken away the view of pending / available funds. I can see where this will cause a lot of overdrafts but that does give the bank more in collectible fees. Takes to load, if there are attached accounts they are now all in one view making it complicated to navigate until you are able to figure out how to take the accounts you don’t want to view away from the dashboard (good luck). Poor design. Not user friendly like the other app was. This is one of those upgrades that justifies someone’s position, at the expense of the user. Not that my complaining matters. I would like to see the overdraft fee report at the end of the year and see how much it has increased since implementation. 🤔
